Health and wellness are two very important things that nobody should neglect. With the way the world works, not everyone has the time or energy to exercise regularly and meditate. People are often so busy working that they don’t have the time to exercise, and instead use it for resting.
While it is not a company’s business regarding what their employees do in their free time, it would be in their interest to guide them toward a healthier and more active direction. After all, it is well known that regular exercise promotes health, and with healthy employees mean better results for the company.
However, it would be wrong if the company mandates employees and forces them to an exercise regimen. This is not necessary unless the company has an army or other job that requires employees to be fit.
So what would be a good way to go about this? It is a good idea to help them find what they want. It is important to offer them a way to exercise or go to the gym that is easy and convenient.
That is where Gympass comes in.
Here is a video from Adriano’s YouTube channel for those who like to see things. You may want to read our article for a more comprehensive review of Gympass.
What is Gympass? Sean Flynn Gympass
Gympass, a platform and app for health and fitness that encourages users to live an active lifestyle, is Gympass. Gympass makes it possible for users to have access to different tools that allow for a healthy lifestyle.
It was the brainchild three entrepreneurs. Cesar Carvalho. Joao Barbosa and Vinicius Feriani. Currently, these three serve as the higher-ups of the Gympass echelon.
Carvalho is currently the Global Chief Executive Officer and is currently based in New York City. Joao Barbosa assumes the role of Global Head of Partnerships/Gyms. He is currently residing in Milan, Lombardia. Lastly, Ferriani serves as a board member and adviser.
More often than not, it is the lack of easy access to something that discourages people from doing that certain thing.
Take the early days of Netflix, for example. When Netflix and online streaming was still in their infancy, there was a noticeable drop in piracy rate. This was because people finally found a single platform that carried everything they wanted to watch.
People were again unable to access certain shows when other streaming platforms came on the scene and made certain films or shows available only to them.
The competition and over-saturation of these websites made it difficult (read expensive) for people to access the media they wanted, as such, many returned to piracy.
Despite streaming platforms becoming saturated, piracy has returned to an all-time high.
So how does this connect with Gympass? Well, think of it as an allegory.
Imagine Gympass being the streaming platform and the various gyms and health-related services the channels and shows. Wouldn’t it make sense for people to get up and try the gym because they have easy access to it?
Gympass, as a platform, provides access to thousands of gyms and fitness studios worldwide. You can even get personal trainers and nutritionists through one platform. Users have no excuse to fail in their fitness goals with the help of this range of resources and features.

Gympass not Classpass

To put it bluntly, Gympass is a service that sells its services to businesses and companies to be offered as a benefit to their employees. A Gympass Subscription is not available to individuals. Meanwhile, Classpass is only for individuals.

How To Use Gympass
First of all, Gympass is not available to individual buyers. Gympass is only offered to companies, and these companies or workplaces will offer Gympass as one of their benefits. Gympass is only available to employees of these companies.
A potential customer will receive an email if he is eligible to sign up for a Gympass subscription. The email will be sent within 30 days after the company partners with Gympass. If the company is already partnered with Gympass, the new employee will receive it on the first day of work.
The user will then download the Gympass App and click the Sign-up button to sign up. The user will then choose the name of the Gympass company from which he/she received Gympass.
Sign-up will require your employed ID and email address. Your name might be one of the other required fields. You will receive an email with a 4-digit code after you sign up. Sean Flynn Gympass
The same email address that you used to register for Gympass is yours. To complete your registration, enter your four-digit code. Click “Finish Registration”
P.S. Contact customer service if you fail to receive the four-digit verification code. They will send an email update and proceed with the registration process.
Activating Gympass Plans
You must first understand the activities available with each plan. It will vary depending on the plan you choose. Remember that the value of the available plans differs from company to company. This will depend on how much Gympass costs your company.
After you have completed your registration, the app will display the available plans. The prices indicate how much each plan costs. The payment method will also depend on your company’s contract with Gympass.
Gympass can be paid either by deducting it from your payroll, or charging it to you credit card.
Your payment in the first month of Gympass will be bigger if you choose the payroll payment option.
Between the date you began using the app and the billing date for your company, you will be responsible for paying the entire amount and the proportional values.
Looking for a Gym
After you have created a Gympass account, and activated your plan it is now time to start using it. Of course, the first step would be to find a gym to work out in.
Looking for a gym is a very straightforward process.
Click on Search in your Gympass app and then browse the map. Of course, your GPS must be turned on and activated for the app to work correctly and accurately.
A gym can be found by searching by an activity, address or name. Even when searching for a gym, you will need a Gympass account to see which one is connected to their network. Sean Flynn Gympass
The map will pull up and show you the nearest partner gyms to your GPS location. Click on the purple dots to learn more about the gym.
Click on the name of the partner gym to view which plans and activities are available.
Gympass: Check in
Now that you’ve found your gym, it is time to check in and use your Gympass.
Check-in in is the only way to access a gym, do an activity, or join a live class. You must be present at the studio or gym before you can check in. A good distance is about 100 meters near the location.
You can also check-in on your mobile phone using the Gympass App.
Upon arriving at the activity’s location, open your Gympass App and then click on the “Check In” tab. Select the current location and confirm your check in.
Sometimes, the gym or studio may not appear in your app. Check the following to see if this happens:
- Your plan is active
- The gym is part of your plan
- If the gym’s address in the App matches the geolocation address in your cell phone
You can only check-in once per day. This means you can only visit one gym per day. But you can also go to different gyms in one month. Sean Flynn Gympass
For Partner Apps, you do not need to check-in. Using them is free; you can access them whenever you want.
Managing Dependent Accounts
One good thing about Gympass is that it allows you to include your dependents in the app. This feature is at the company’s discretion. If your company offers this feature, then you are in luck.
Check your profile settings to see if this option is available. A “dependents tab” should appear if your company offers it. You cannot add family members to your Gympass accounts if this is not possible.
First, check to see if your plan has been activated before you can manage the accounts for your family members. You can then register them. Create a password and then activate a plan.
Up next, you must add a payment method for each family member. The maximum number of dependents you can add in Gympass is three persons. Only your partner and children are considered as dependents.
Each member of the family will have their own profile. These accounts will function in the same way as regular Gympass accounts, where they can search for gyms and check in for activities. Sean Flynn Gympass
Just because they have an account does not mean they can enjoy it permanently. A corporate user can cancel or change a plan for a family member.
With the exclusivity of having the Gympass limited to employees of certain companies. It might be easy to think that plans could be expensive. It is possible to be quite wrong.
Gympass is affordable for all budgets. This is because the company wants its users to promote a healthy and active lifestyle. Gympass plans start for as low as $11.99 per month.
Gympass plan pricing, availability and availability depend on the contribution of your head company to Gympass.

I was lucky enough to be given access to Gympass in my work. Since it was already an added benefit, I went ahead and tried it.
Of course, I first subscribed to the most affordable plan, which is the starter plan.
One thing I would advise is that if you plan to avail of their service, You should check out which gyms and studios are available first. In my case, I was lucky enough that there were a few who were partnering with Gympass in my area.
Nevertheless, I did need to travel at times. That was when I reached my destination. Only the higher plans had access to the gyms. So during those times, I was out of luck.
Thankfully, virtual trainers were available for me during that period, and I took advantage of those. These sessions can only be booked up to eight per month. So you put a conscious effort if you want to book those from time to time.
One thing I like about Gympass is that I must check in daily. Otherwise I have to pay a fee for missed appointments. I was incentivized to stick with my workout regimens. Lo and behold, I’ve lost a lot of weight since starting the service. Sean Flynn Gympass
As of today, I’m still using the app. Actually, I upgraded my plan. And I can say I am very happy that I did. I was able to use more gyms and study at my new plan. These studios provided interesting activities that were most enjoyable.

Gympass Final Thoughts
Gympass might be the future of fitness and active lifestyle, especially for employees. They have figured out a way to really promote health and wellness to employees of a company.
Gympass seems to be a win-win situation. Employees can stay fit while employers can boost employee activity and energy.
As a result, it seems like both the employee and the employer have gotten their money’s worth for the service.
I guess the only glaring downside would be the fact that it is unavailable to single users. Gympass seems to have found a solution that works for them, as they are now making more money from their business model.
