It is important to take care of your health and well-being. However, with how the world works, only the most dedicated people have the time to do regular exercise and meditation. People are often so busy working that they don’t have the time to exercise, and instead use it for resting.
Although it is not the company’s responsibility to determine what employees do with their time, it would be in their best interest to help them move in a more active and healthy direction. Regular exercise is known to improve health and lead to better company results.
However, it would be wrong if the company mandates employees and forces them to an exercise regimen. This is not necessary unless the company has an army or other job that requires employees to be fit.
What is the best way to do this? Well, a good place to start would be to guide them toward what you want. It is important to offer them a way to exercise or go to the gym that is easy and convenient.
This is where Gympass steps in.
Here is a video from Adriano’s YouTube channel for those who like to see things. To get a comprehensive overview of Gympass, you may still want to check out our article below.
What is Gympass? Xfusion Sweep
Gympass is a health and fitness platform and application that helps users follow an active lifestyle. Gympass makes it possible for users to have access to different tools that allow for a healthy lifestyle.
It was the brainchild three entrepreneurs. Cesar Carvalho. Joao Barbosa and Vinicius Feriani. Currently, these three serve as the higher-ups of the Gympass echelon.
Carvalho currently holds the Global Chief Executive Officer position and is currently located in New York City, New York. Joao Barbosa assumes the role of Global Head of Partnerships/Gyms. He is currently residing in Milan, Lombardia. Lastly, Ferriani serves as a board member and adviser.
More often than not, it is the lack of easy access to something that discourages people from doing that certain thing.
Take the early days of Netflix, for example. When Netflix and online streaming was still in their infancy, there was a noticeable drop in piracy rate. This was because people finally found a single platform that carried everything they wanted to watch.
People were again unable to access certain shows when other streaming platforms came on the scene and made certain films or shows available only to them.
The competition and over-saturation of these websites made it difficult (read expensive) for people to access the media they wanted, as such, many returned to piracy.
Despite the oversaturation of streaming platforms, piracy returned to a record high.
How does this relate to Gympass? It can be viewed as an allegory.
Imagine Gympass being the streaming platform and the various gyms and health-related services the channels and shows. It would make sense for people who have easy access to the gym to go to the gym.
Gympass, as a platform, provides access to thousands of gyms and fitness studios worldwide. You can even get personal trainers and nutritionists through one platform. Users have no excuse to fail in their fitness goals with the help of this range of resources and features.
Other highlights that Gympass provides include workout plans, tracking tools, and support from a huge Gympass Community.

Click on the name of the partner gym to view which plans and activities are available.
Checking in to Gympass
Once you have found your gym, it’s time to check-in and use your Gympass.
Check-in in is the only way to access a gym, do an activity, or join a live class. You must be present at the studio or gym before you can check in. A good distance is about 100 meters near the location.
You can also check-in on your mobile phone using the Gympass App.
Upon arriving at the activity’s location, open your Gympass App and then click on the “Check In” tab. Choose the location which you are currently visiting and then confirm your check-in.
Sometimes, the gym or studio may not appear in your app. Check the following to see if this happens:
- Your plan is active
- The gym is part of your plan
- If the address of the gym in the App matches your geolocation address in your phone,
Also, you can only check in once per day. You can only visit one gym each day. But you can also go to different gyms in one month. Xfusion Sweep
For Partner Apps, you do not need to check-in. Using them is free; you can access them whenever you want.
Managing Dependent Accounts
Gympass allows you to add your dependents into the app. This is a great feature. However, this feature will depend on the discretion of your company. If your company offers this feature, then you are in luck.
You can check if this feature is available by looking at your profile settings. If your company offers this feature, a “dependents tab” should be visible. If not, you are not allowed to add family members to your Gympass account.
First, check to see if your plan has been activated before you can manage the accounts for your family members. You can then register them. You can then create a password to activate a plan.
Next, add a payment method to each member of your family. The maximum number of dependents you can add in Gympass is three persons. Your partner and your children are not considered dependents.
Each member of the family will have their own profile. These accounts will work in the same manner as regular Gympass accounts. They can search for gyms, check in for activities, and more. Xfusion Sweep
Just because they have an account does not mean they can enjoy it permanently. The corporate user can still change or cancel a plan for a family member.

Gympass Experience
Gympass was an option that I was able to use in my job. It was an added benefit so I tried it.
Naturally, I subscribed first to the most economical plan, which was the starter plan.
I recommend that you check first which studios and gyms are open if your plan is to use their service. My case was fortunate enough to find a few Gympass partners in my area.
Nevertheless, I did need to travel at times. That was when I reached my destination. Only the higher plans had access to the gyms. So during those times, I was out of luck.
Virtual trainers were readily available during this time, which I was able to take advantage of. These sessions can only be booked up to eight per month. So you put a conscious effort if you want to book those from time to time.
One thing I like about Gympass is that I must check in daily. Otherwise I have to pay a fee for missed appointments. This kind of incentivized me to follow my workout routines. Since I started the service, I have lost a lot of weight. Xfusion Sweep
The app is still available to me as of today. In fact, I have since upgraded my plan. And I’m very happy I did. Upgrading my plan allowed me to access more gyms and be studious. These studios provided interesting activities that were most enjoyable.
