gympass-review

It is important to take care of your health and well-being. However, with how the world works, only the most dedicated people have the time to do regular exercise and meditation. People are often so busy working that they don’t have the time to exercise, and instead use it for resting.

While it is not a company’s business regarding what their employees do in their free time, it would be in their interest to guide them toward a healthier and more active direction. After all, it is well known that regular exercise promotes health, and with healthy employees mean better results for the company.

It would be wrong for a company to force employees to exercise. Unless it is the army or some kind of job that requires its employees to be physically fit, such a requirement is not really necessary.

So what would be a good way to go about this? Well, a good place to start would be to guide them toward what you want. It is important to offer them a way to exercise or go to the gym that is easy and convenient.

This is where Gympass steps in.

What is Gympass? Wellness Go

Gympass, a platform and app for health and fitness that encourages users to live an active lifestyle, is Gympass. Gympass allows users to access different tools that can help them live a healthy life.

It is the brainchild of three entrepreneurs. Cesar Carvalho. Joao Barbosa, and Vinicius Ferriani. Currently, these three serve as the higher-ups of the Gympass echelon.

Carvalho currently holds the Global Chief Executive Officer position and is currently located in New York City, New York. Joao Barbosa takes over the task as the Global Head of Partnerships or Gyms and is currently living in Milan, Lombardia, Italy. Ferriani is also a member of the board and an adviser.

Often, people are discouraged by the difficulty of accessing something.

Consider the early days for Netflix. There was a drop in piracy rates when Netflix and online streaming were still in their infancy. This was because people finally found a single platform that carried everything they wanted to watch.

When other streaming platforms were introduced in the market and made certain films or shows exclusive to their platforms, people once again found it difficult to access certain shows.

The competition and over-saturation of these websites made it difficult (read expensive) for people to access the media they wanted, as such, many returned to piracy.

Despite the oversaturation of streaming platforms, piracy returned to a record high.

How does this relate to Gympass? It can be viewed as an allegory.

Imagine if Gympass is the streaming platform while the different gyms and other health-related services are the different shows and channels. Wouldn’t it make sense for people to get up and try the gym because they have easy access to it?

Gympass, as a platform, provides access to thousands of gyms and fitness studios worldwide. You can even get personal trainers and nutritionists through one platform. With its range of features and resources, users have little excuse for why they should fail in their fitness goals.

Other highlights that Gympass provides include workout plans, tracking tools, and support from a huge Gympass Community.

Gympass, not Classpass

Classpass is Gympass’s most popular competition. It is easy to see why, as both of them have similar-sounding names. However, one of their biggest differences is in which market they target and how they are offered.

Gympass, as the name suggests, is a service that sells services to companies and businesses to be used by employees. As an individual, you cannot buy a Gympass Subscription. Meanwhile, Classpass is only for individuals.

Gympass can be considered as a complete corporate platform that helps companies ensure the health and well-being of their employees. It can be used by the whole team to meet their health and lifestyle requirements.

When an employer gives Gympass benefits to its employees, it gives the best well-being brand to their fingertips. As such, Gympass aims to make well-being universal and accessible no matter the person.

As such, this makes Gympass a force that could change the fitness world. This unique system could revolutionize attitudes regarding health and well-being. It will not only positively impact the physical and mental health of the workforce but also have the potential to improve their mental health.

After downloading the Gympass app, the user can click on the Sign up button to register. The user will then choose the name of the Gympass company from which he/she received Gympass.

Your employed ID and work email will be used during the sign-up process. Other required fields might include your name. You will receive an email with a 4-digit code after you sign up. Wellness Go

The same email address that you used to register for Gympass is yours. Enter your four-digit code and then click “Finish Registration” to finish your registration process.

P.S. Contact customer service if you fail to receive the four-digit verification code. They will send an email update and proceed with the registration process.

Plans for activating the Gympass

You must first understand the activities available with each plan. It will vary depending on the plan you choose. Remember that the value of the available plans differs from company to company. This will depend on how much Gympass costs your company.

After you have completed your registration, the app will display the available plans. Prices indicate the cost of each plan. Your company’s contract will determine the payment method.

Gympass could be paid by either deducting the amount from your payroll or charging it to your credit card.

If you select the payroll payment option, your first month’s Gympass payment will be larger.

You will need to pay for the full amount of your chosen plan and the proportional value between the day you started using the app and your company’s determined billing date.

Are you looking for a gym?

Now that you have registered for a Gympass account and have activated your plan, it is time to use it. The first thing you need to do is find a gym where you can exercise.

It is easy to find a gym.

Click on Search in your Gympass app and then browse the map. To make the app work properly and accurately, you must have your GPS activated and turned on.

A gym can be found by searching by an activity, address or name. To find a gym that is connected to the network, you’ll need a Gympass Account. Wellness Go

The map will then pull up and indicate the closest partner gyms from your GPS location. If you want to find out more details about the gym, click on the purple dots.

Click on the name of the partner gym to view which plans and activities are available.

Gympass: Check in

Now that you’ve found your gym, it is time to check in and use your Gympass.

Check-in in is the only way to access a gym, do an activity, or join a live class. As such, you must be in the gym or studio’s premises before checking in. The location is approximately 100m away.

You can also check-in on your mobile phone using the Gympass App.

Upon arriving at the activity’s location, open your Gympass App and then click on the “Check In” tab. Choose the location which you are currently visiting and then confirm your check-in.

Sometimes the studio or gym may not show up in your app. Check the following to see if this happens:

  1. Your plan is active
  2. The gym is part of your plan
  3. If the address of the gym in the App matches your geolocation address in your phone,

Also, you can only check in once per day. You can only visit one gym each day. But you can also go to different gyms in one month. Wellness Go

For Partner Apps, you do not need to check-in. Using them is free; you can access them whenever you want.

Managing Dependent Accounts

Gympass allows you to add your dependents into the app. This is a great feature. This feature is at the company’s discretion. If your company offers this feature, then you are in luck.

Check your profile settings to see if this option is available. A “dependents tab” should appear if your company offers it. You cannot add family members to your Gympass accounts if this is not possible.

First, check to see if your plan has been activated before you can manage the accounts for your family members. You can then register them. Create a password and then activate a plan.

Up next, you must add a payment method for each family member. You can only add three dependents to Gympass. Only your partner and children are considered as dependents.

Each member of the family will have their own profile. These accounts will work in the same manner as regular Gympass accounts. They can search for gyms, check in for activities, and more. Wellness Go

They can’t enjoy their account forever just because they have one. The corporate user can still change or cancel a plan for a family member.

Gympass Experience

I was lucky enough to be given access to Gympass in my work. It was an added benefit so I tried it.

Of course, I first subscribed to the most affordable plan, which is the starter plan.

One thing I would advise is that if you plan to avail of their service, You should check out which gyms and studios are available first. In my case, I was lucky enough that there were a few who were partnering with Gympass in my area.

Nevertheless, I did need to travel at times. That was when I reached my destination. Only the higher plans had access to the gyms. During those times, I was out luck.

Thankfully, virtual trainers were available for me during that period, and I took advantage of those. These sessions can only be booked up to eight per month. If you are interested in booking these sessions, you will need to make an effort.

Gympass has one thing that I love: I have to check in every day. If I miss an appointment, I must pay a fee. This kind of incentivized me to follow my workout routines. Lo and behold, I’ve lost a lot of weight since starting the service. Wellness Go

As of today, I’m still using the app. Actually, I upgraded my plan. And I can say I am very happy that I did. Upgrading my plan allowed me to access more gyms and be studious. Some of these studios offered interesting activities, and most of them were enjoyable.
