Health and wellness are two very important things that nobody should neglect. However, with how the world works, only the most dedicated people have the time to do regular exercise and meditation. People are often so busy working that they don’t have the time to exercise, and instead use it for resting.

While it is not a company’s business regarding what their employees do in their free time, it would be in their interest to guide them toward a healthier and more active direction. After all, it is well known that regular exercise promotes health, and with healthy employees mean better results for the company.

It would be wrong for a company to force employees to exercise. Unless it is the army or some kind of job that requires its employees to be physically fit, such a requirement is not really necessary.

What is the best way to do this? Well, a good place to start would be to guide them toward what you want. It is best to provide them with a good and accessible way to pursue exercise or go to the gym.

That is where Gympass comes in.

What is Gympass? Vitalk Gympass

Gympass, a platform and app for health and fitness that encourages users to live an active lifestyle, is Gympass. Gympass allows users to access different tools that can help them live a healthy life.

It was the brainchild three entrepreneurs. Cesar Carvalho. Joao Barbosa, and Vinicius Ferriani. These three are currently the highest-ranking members of the Gympass echelon.

Carvalho currently holds the Global Chief Executive Officer position and is currently located in New York City, New York. Joao Barbosa takes over the task as the Global Head of Partnerships or Gyms and is currently living in Milan, Lombardia, Italy. Lastly, Ferriani serves as a board member and adviser.

Often, people are discouraged by the difficulty of accessing something.

Take the early days of Netflix, for example. There was a drop in piracy rates when Netflix and online streaming were still in their infancy. People finally found one platform that offered everything they needed.

When other streaming platforms were introduced in the market and made certain films or shows exclusive to their platforms, people once again found it difficult to access certain shows.

Many people returned to piracy because of the competition and high levels of saturation on these websites.

Despite streaming platforms becoming saturated, piracy has returned to an all-time high.

How does this relate to Gympass? It can be viewed as an allegory.

Imagine Gympass being the streaming platform and the various gyms and health-related services the channels and shows. It would make sense for people who have easy access to the gym to go to the gym.

Gympass, as a platform, provides access to thousands of gyms and fitness studios worldwide. These even include personal trainers and nutritionists all in one service. Users have no excuse to fail in their fitness goals with the help of this range of resources and features.

Gympass also offers workout plans, tracking tools and support from a large Gympass community.

Gympass, not Classpass

One of Gympass’s main competitions is Classpass. It is easy to see why, as both of them have similar-sounding names. However, one of their biggest differences is in which market they target and how they are offered.

To put it bluntly, Gympass is a service that sells its services to businesses and companies to be offered as a benefit to their employees. As an individual, you cannot buy a Gympass Subscription. Classpass is for individuals only.

Gympass is a corporate platform that helps companies to ensure their employees’ health and well-being. It can be used by the whole team to meet their health and lifestyle requirements.

Gympass benefits are offered by employers to employees. This gives them the best brand of well-being. Gympass strives to make well-being accessible and universal for all people.

This makes Gympass an important force in the fitness industry. This unique system could revolutionize attitudes regarding health and well-being. It will not only positively impact the physical and mental health of the workforce but also have the potential to improve their mental health.

Plans for activating the Gympass

To begin, you must understand which activities are available for each plan. It will vary depending on the plan you choose. Keep in mind that each company has a different value for the plans they offer. This will depend on how much your company pays Gympass.

Once you finish your registration, the available plans will be shown on the app. The prices indicate how much each plan costs. Your company’s contract will determine the payment method.

Gympass can be paid either by deducting it from your payroll, or charging it to you credit card.

If you select the payroll payment option, your first month’s Gympass payment will be larger.

You will need to pay for the full amount of your chosen plan and the proportional value between the day you started using the app and your company’s determined billing date.

Looking for a Gym

After you have created a Gympass account, and activated your plan it is now time to start using it. The first thing you need to do is find a gym where you can exercise.

It is easy to find a gym.

On your Gympass App, click on Search and then browse the map. Of course, your GPS must be turned on and activated for the app to work correctly and accurately.

You can also look for a gym by searching for an address, activity, or by its name. Even when searching for a gym, you will need a Gympass account to see which one is connected to their network. Vitalk Gympass

The map will pull up and show you the nearest partner gyms to your GPS location. Click on the purple dots to learn more about the gym.

You can then click on the partner gym’s name to see which plan and activities are available when you go there.

Gympass: Check in

Now that you’ve found your gym, it is time to check in and use your Gympass.

You can only access a gym, participate in an activity or take part in a class if you check-in. You must be present at the studio or gym before you can check in. A good distance is about 100 meters near the location.

Check-in should also be done on your cell phone with the Gympass App.

After arriving at the activity’s site, open Gympass App. Click on the “Check in” tab. Select the current location and confirm your check in.

Sometimes, the gym or studio may not appear in your app. Check the following to see if this happens:

  1. Your plan is active
  2. The gym is part of your plan
  3. If the gym’s address in the App matches the geolocation address in your cell phone

Also, you can only check in once per day. This means you can only visit one gym per day. You can visit multiple gyms within a single month. Vitalk Gympass

You don’t need to log-in for Partner Apps. They are free to use and you can access them at any time.

Managing Dependent Accounts

One good thing about Gympass is that it allows you to include your dependents in the app. This feature is at the company’s discretion. This feature may be offered by your company.

You can check if this feature is available by looking at your profile settings. A “dependents tab” should appear if your company offers it. You cannot add family members to your Gympass accounts if this is not possible.

To manage the accounts of your family members, first, you must check if your plan is active. Then, you can register them. Create a password and then activate a plan.

Next, add a payment method to each member of your family. You can only add three dependents to Gympass. Your partner and your children are not considered dependents.

Each member of the family will have their own profile. These accounts will function in the same way as regular Gympass accounts, where they can search for gyms and check in for activities. Vitalk Gympass

They can’t enjoy their account forever just because they have one. A corporate user can cancel or change a plan for a family member.

Gympass Experience

I was lucky enough to be given access to Gympass in my work. Since it was already an added benefit, I went ahead and tried it.

Naturally, I subscribed first to the most economical plan, which was the starter plan.

One thing I would advise is that if you plan to avail of their service, You should check out which gyms and studios are available first. My case was fortunate enough to find a few Gympass partners in my area.

That said, there were times when I needed to travel, and that was when I arrived at my destination. Only the higher plans had access to the gyms. During those times, I was out luck.

Thankfully, virtual trainers were available for me during that period, and I took advantage of those. These sessions can only be booked up to eight per month. If you are interested in booking these sessions, you will need to make an effort.

One thing I like about Gympass is that I must check in daily. Otherwise I have to pay a fee for missed appointments. This kind of incentivized me to follow my workout routines. Lo and behold, I’ve lost a lot of weight since starting the service. Vitalk Gympass

As of today, I’m still using the app. Actually, I upgraded my plan. And I can say I am very happy that I did. Upgrading my plan allowed me to access more gyms and be studious. These studios provided interesting activities that were most enjoyable.
