Health and wellness are two very important things that nobody should neglect. With the way the world works, not everyone has the time or energy to exercise regularly and meditate. Often, people are too busy working that what they have time for exercise is used for resting.
While it is not a company’s business regarding what their employees do in their free time, it would be in their interest to guide them toward a healthier and more active direction. After all, it is well known that regular exercise promotes health, and with healthy employees mean better results for the company.
However, it would be wrong if the company mandates employees and forces them to an exercise regimen. This is not necessary unless the company has an army or other job that requires employees to be fit.
So what would be a good way to go about this? Well, a good place to start would be to guide them toward what you want. It is best to provide them with a good and accessible way to pursue exercise or go to the gym.
This is where Gympass steps in.
For those of you who prefer a more visual experience, here is a video review from Adriano Pianesi on his YouTube channel. To get a comprehensive overview of Gympass, you may still want to check out our article below.
What is Gympass? Strava Gympass
Gympass, a platform and app for health and fitness that encourages users to live an active lifestyle, is Gympass. Gympass makes it possible for users to have access to different tools that allow for a healthy lifestyle.
It is the brainchild of three entrepreneurs. Cesar Carvalho. Joao Barbosa and Vinicius Feriani. These three are currently the highest-ranking members of the Gympass echelon.
Carvalho currently holds the Global Chief Executive Officer position and is currently located in New York City, New York. Joao Barbosa assumes the role of Global Head of Partnerships/Gyms. He is currently residing in Milan, Lombardia. Lastly, Ferriani serves as a board member and adviser.
More often than not, it is the lack of easy access to something that discourages people from doing that certain thing.
Take the early days of Netflix, for example. When Netflix and online streaming was still in their infancy, there was a noticeable drop in piracy rate. This was because people finally found a single platform that carried everything they wanted to watch.
When other streaming platforms were introduced in the market and made certain films or shows exclusive to their platforms, people once again found it difficult to access certain shows.
The competition and over-saturation of these websites made it difficult (read expensive) for people to access the media they wanted, as such, many returned to piracy.
Despite the oversaturation of streaming platforms, piracy returned to a record high.
So how does this connect with Gympass? Well, think of it as an allegory.
Imagine if Gympass is the streaming platform while the different gyms and other health-related services are the different shows and channels. Wouldn’t it make sense for people to get up and try the gym because they have easy access to it?
Gympass, as a platform, provides access to thousands of gyms and fitness studios worldwide. These even include personal trainers and nutritionists all in one service. Users have no excuse to fail in their fitness goals with the help of this range of resources and features.
Gympass also offers workout plans, tracking tools and support from a large Gympass community.
Gympass not Classpass
Classpass is Gympass’s most popular competition. Both have similar names, which is why it is easy to understand why. However, one of their biggest differences is in which market they target and how they are offered.
Gympass, as the name suggests, is a service that sells services to companies and businesses to be used by employees. As an individual, you cannot buy a Gympass Subscription. Meanwhile, Classpass is only for individuals.
Gympass is a corporate platform that helps companies to ensure their employees’ health and well-being. It can be used to meet the health and lifestyle needs of the entire team and their families.
Gympass benefits are offered by employers to employees. This gives them the best brand of well-being. As such, Gympass aims to make well-being universal and accessible no matter the person.
This makes Gympass an important force in the fitness industry. This unique system could revolutionize attitudes regarding health and well-being. It will not only positively impact the physical and mental health of the workforce but also have the potential to improve their mental health.

P.S. If you do not receive the four-digit verification code, please contact customer service. They will send an email update and proceed with the registration process.
Activating Gympass Plans
To begin, you must understand which activities are available for each plan. It will vary depending on the plan you choose. Remember that the value of the available plans differs from company to company. This will depend on how much Gympass costs your company.
Once you finish your registration, the available plans will be shown on the app. Prices indicate the cost of each plan. The payment method will also depend on your company’s contract with Gympass.
Gympass can be paid either by deducting it from your payroll, or charging it to you credit card.
Your payment in the first month of Gympass will be bigger if you choose the payroll payment option.
Between the date you began using the app and the billing date for your company, you will be responsible for paying the entire amount and the proportional values.
Looking for a Gym
After you have created a Gympass account, and activated your plan it is now time to start using it. The first thing you need to do is find a gym where you can exercise.
Looking for a gym is a very straightforward process.
On your Gympass App, click on Search and then browse the map. To make the app work properly and accurately, you must have your GPS activated and turned on.
You can also look for a gym by searching for an address, activity, or by its name. To find a gym that is connected to the network, you’ll need a Gympass Account. Strava Gympass
The map will then pull up and indicate the closest partner gyms from your GPS location. If you want to find out more details about the gym, click on the purple dots.
Click on the name of the partner gym to view which plans and activities are available.
Checking in to Gympass
Once you have found your gym, it’s time to check-in and use your Gympass.
Check-in in is the only way to access a gym, do an activity, or join a live class. You must be present at the studio or gym before you can check in. A good distance is about 100 meters near the location.
You can also check-in on your mobile phone using the Gympass App.
After arriving at the activity’s site, open Gympass App. Click on the “Check in” tab. Select the current location and confirm your check in.
Sometimes, the gym or studio may not appear in your app. If this happens, check if the following:
- Your plan is active
- The gym is part of your plan
- If the gym’s address in the App matches the geolocation address in your cell phone
Also, you can only check in once per day. You can only visit one gym each day. You can visit multiple gyms within a single month. Strava Gympass
You don’t need to log-in for Partner Apps. They are free to use and you can access them at any time.
Managing Dependent Accounts
Gympass allows you to add your dependents into the app. This is a great feature. However, this feature will depend on the discretion of your company. If your company offers this feature, then you are in luck.
Check your profile settings to see if this option is available. If your company offers this feature, a “dependents tab” should be visible. If not, you are not allowed to add family members to your Gympass account.
First, check to see if your plan has been activated before you can manage the accounts for your family members. Then, you can register them. You can then create a password to activate a plan.
Next, add a payment method to each member of your family. The maximum number of dependents you can add in Gympass is three persons. Your partner and your children are not considered dependents.
Each family member will have their own profile and account. These accounts will function in the same way as regular Gympass accounts, where they can search for gyms and check in for activities. Strava Gympass
They can’t enjoy their account forever just because they have one. The corporate user can still change or cancel a plan for a family member.
The Gympass is only available to employees at certain companies. It might be easy to think that plans could be expensive. It is possible to be quite wrong.

I was lucky enough to be given access to Gympass in my work. Since it was already an added benefit, I went ahead and tried it.
Naturally, I subscribed first to the most economical plan, which was the starter plan.
One thing I would advise is that if you plan to avail of their service, You should check out which gyms and studios are available first. My case was fortunate enough to find a few Gympass partners in my area.
Nevertheless, I did need to travel at times. That was when I reached my destination. Only the higher plans had access to the gyms. So during those times, I was out of luck.
Thankfully, virtual trainers were available for me during that period, and I took advantage of those. These sessions can only be booked up to eight per month. If you are interested in booking these sessions, you will need to make an effort.
One thing I like about Gympass is that I must check in daily. Otherwise I have to pay a fee for missed appointments. This kind of incentivized me to follow my workout routines. Since I started the service, I have lost a lot of weight. Strava Gympass
As of today, I’m still using the app. In fact, I have since upgraded my plan. And I’m very happy I did. Upgrading my plan allowed me to access more gyms and be studious. These studios provided interesting activities that were most enjoyable.
