gympass-review

Health and wellness are two very important things that nobody should neglect. However, with how the world works, only the most dedicated people have the time to do regular exercise and meditation. Often, people are too busy working that what they have time for exercise is used for resting.

Although it is not the company’s responsibility to determine what employees do with their time, it would be in their best interest to help them move in a more active and healthy direction. Regular exercise is known to improve health and lead to better company results.

It would be wrong for a company to force employees to exercise. Unless it is the army or some kind of job that requires its employees to be physically fit, such a requirement is not really necessary.

What is the best way to do this? Well, a good place to start would be to guide them toward what you want. It is best to provide them with a good and accessible way to pursue exercise or go to the gym.

That is where Gympass comes in.

What is Gympass? Gympass Y Andjoy

Gympass is a health and fitness platform and application that helps users follow an active lifestyle. Gympass makes it possible for users to have access to different tools that allow for a healthy lifestyle.

It was the brainchild three entrepreneurs. Cesar Carvalho. Joao Barbosa and Vinicius Feriani. These three are currently the highest-ranking members of the Gympass echelon.

Carvalho currently holds the Global Chief Executive Officer position and is currently located in New York City, New York. Joao Barbosa assumes the role of Global Head of Partnerships/Gyms. He is currently residing in Milan, Lombardia. Lastly, Ferriani serves as a board member and adviser.

More often than not, it is the lack of easy access to something that discourages people from doing that certain thing.

Consider the early days for Netflix. There was a drop in piracy rates when Netflix and online streaming were still in their infancy. People finally found one platform that offered everything they needed.

When other streaming platforms were introduced in the market and made certain films or shows exclusive to their platforms, people once again found it difficult to access certain shows.

Many people returned to piracy because of the competition and high levels of saturation on these websites.

Despite streaming platforms becoming saturated, piracy has returned to an all-time high.

So how does this connect with Gympass? Well, think of it as an allegory.

Imagine Gympass being the streaming platform and the various gyms and health-related services the channels and shows. Wouldn’t it make sense for people to get up and try the gym because they have easy access to it?

Gympass is a platform that allows you to access thousands of fitness studios and gyms around the world. These even include personal trainers and nutritionists all in one service. Users have no excuse to fail in their fitness goals with the help of this range of resources and features.

Other highlights that Gympass provides include workout plans, tracking tools, and support from a huge Gympass Community.

How to Use Gympass

Signing Up

Gympass is not offered to individuals. Gympass can only be purchased by companies. These companies and workplaces will offer Gympass to their employees as part of their benefits. Only the employees of these companies are allowed to sign up for Gympass.

If a potential customer is eligible, he will be notified by email. This email will arrive within 30 days of the company partnering with Gympass. The email will be sent to the employee if the company has already been partnered with Gympass.

After downloading the Gympass app, the user can click on the Sign up button to register. From there, he or she will select the name of the company that offered Gympass to you.

Your employed ID and work email will be used during the sign-up process. Your name might be one of the other required fields. You will receive an email with a 4-digit code after you sign up. Gympass Y Andjoy

Use the same email that your company used to register you to Gympass. To complete your registration, enter your four-digit code. Click “Finish Registration”

P.S. Contact customer service if you fail to receive the four-digit verification code. They will send an email update and proceed with the registration process.

Plans for activating the Gympass

To begin, you must understand which activities are available for each plan. It will vary depending on the plan you choose. Keep in mind that each company has a different value for the plans they offer. This will depend on how much your company pays Gympass.

Once you finish your registration, the available plans will be shown on the app. Prices indicate the cost of each plan. Your company’s contract will determine the payment method.

Gympass could be paid by either deducting the amount from your payroll or charging it to your credit card.

If you select the payroll payment option, your first month’s Gympass payment will be larger.

Between the date you began using the app and the billing date for your company, you will be responsible for paying the entire amount and the proportional values.

Looking for a Gym

After you have created a Gympass account, and activated your plan it is now time to start using it. The first thing you need to do is find a gym where you can exercise.

It is easy to find a gym.

On your Gympass App, click on Search and then browse the map. Of course, your GPS must be turned on and activated for the app to work correctly and accurately.

You can also look for a gym by searching for an address, activity, or by its name. Even when searching for a gym, you will need a Gympass account to see which one is connected to their network. Gympass Y Andjoy

The map will then pull up and indicate the closest partner gyms from your GPS location. If you want to find out more details about the gym, click on the purple dots.

You can then click on the partner gym’s name to see which plan and activities are available when you go there.

Gympass: Check in

Once you have found your gym, it’s time to check-in and use your Gympass.

Check-in in is the only way to access a gym, do an activity, or join a live class. You must be present at the studio or gym before you can check in. A good distance is about 100 meters near the location.

You can also check-in on your mobile phone using the Gympass App.

Upon arriving at the activity’s location, open your Gympass App and then click on the “Check In” tab. Choose the location which you are currently visiting and then confirm your check-in.

Sometimes, the gym or studio may not appear in your app. If this happens, check if the following:

  1. Your plan is active
  2. Your plan should include a gym
  3. If the gym’s address in the App matches the geolocation address in your cell phone

You can only check-in once per day. This means you can only visit one gym per day. But you can also go to different gyms in one month. Gympass Y Andjoy

For Partner Apps, you do not need to check-in. Using them is free; you can access them whenever you want.

Managing Dependent Accounts

One good thing about Gympass is that it allows you to include your dependents in the app. However, this feature will depend on the discretion of your company. If your company offers this feature, then you are in luck.

Check your profile settings to see if this option is available. A “dependents tab” should appear if your company offers it. If not, you are not allowed to add family members to your Gympass account.

First, check to see if your plan has been activated before you can manage the accounts for your family members. Then, you can register them. You can then create a password to activate a plan.

Up next, you must add a payment method for each family member. The maximum number of dependents you can add in Gympass is three persons. Only your partner and children are considered as dependents.

Each member of the family will have their own profile. These accounts will work in the same manner as regular Gympass accounts. They can search for gyms, check in for activities, and more. Gympass Y Andjoy

They can’t enjoy their account forever just because they have one. A corporate user can cancel or change a plan for a family member.

Gympass Experience

Gympass was an option that I was able to use in my job. It was an added benefit so I tried it.

Naturally, I subscribed first to the most economical plan, which was the starter plan.

I recommend that you check first which studios and gyms are open if your plan is to use their service. In my case, I was lucky enough that there were a few who were partnering with Gympass in my area.

Nevertheless, I did need to travel at times. That was when I reached my destination. Only the higher plans had access to the gyms. So during those times, I was out of luck.

Virtual trainers were readily available during this time, which I was able to take advantage of. For these sessions, you can only book up to eight a month. So you put a conscious effort if you want to book those from time to time.

Gympass has one thing that I love: I have to check in every day. If I miss an appointment, I must pay a fee. This kind of incentivized me to follow my workout routines. Since I started the service, I have lost a lot of weight. Gympass Y Andjoy

The app is still available to me as of today. Actually, I upgraded my plan. And I’m very happy I did. Upgrading my plan allowed me to access more gyms and be studious. These studios provided interesting activities that were most enjoyable.
