Gympass Tiers

gympass-review

Health and wellness are two very important things that nobody should neglect. However, with how the world works, only the most dedicated people have the time to do regular exercise and meditation. Often, people are too busy working that what they have time for exercise is used for resting.

Although it is not the company’s responsibility to determine what employees do with their time, it would be in their best interest to help them move in a more active and healthy direction. After all, it is well known that regular exercise promotes health, and with healthy employees mean better results for the company.

However, it would be wrong if the company mandates employees and forces them to an exercise regimen. Unless it is the army or some kind of job that requires its employees to be physically fit, such a requirement is not really necessary.

What is the best way to do this? It is a good idea to help them find what they want. It is best to provide them with a good and accessible way to pursue exercise or go to the gym.

That is where Gympass comes in.

What is Gympass? Gympass Tiers

Gympass is a health and fitness platform and application that helps users follow an active lifestyle. Gympass allows users to access different tools that can help them live a healthy life.

It was the brainchild three entrepreneurs. Cesar Carvalho. Joao Barbosa, and Vinicius Ferriani. Currently, these three serve as the higher-ups of the Gympass echelon.

Carvalho currently holds the Global Chief Executive Officer position and is currently located in New York City, New York. Joao Barbosa takes over the task as the Global Head of Partnerships or Gyms and is currently living in Milan, Lombardia, Italy. Ferriani is also a member of the board and an adviser.

More often than not, it is the lack of easy access to something that discourages people from doing that certain thing.

Consider the early days for Netflix. There was a drop in piracy rates when Netflix and online streaming were still in their infancy. People finally found one platform that offered everything they needed.

People were again unable to access certain shows when other streaming platforms came on the scene and made certain films or shows available only to them.

The competition and over-saturation of these websites made it difficult (read expensive) for people to access the media they wanted, as such, many returned to piracy.

Despite the oversaturation of streaming platforms, piracy returned to a record high.

So how does this connect with Gympass? Well, think of it as an allegory.

Imagine Gympass being the streaming platform and the various gyms and health-related services the channels and shows. Wouldn’t it make sense for people to get up and try the gym because they have easy access to it?

Gympass, as a platform, provides access to thousands of gyms and fitness studios worldwide. These even include personal trainers and nutritionists all in one service. Users have no excuse to fail in their fitness goals with the help of this range of resources and features.

Gympass also offers workout plans, tracking tools and support from a large Gympass community.

P.S. Contact customer service if you fail to receive the four-digit verification code. They will update your email and move forward with the registration process.

Plans for activating the Gympass

You must first understand the activities available with each plan. This will depend on which plan you choose to avail with. Remember that the value of the available plans differs from company to company. This will depend on how much Gympass costs your company.

After you have completed your registration, the app will display the available plans. The prices indicate how much each plan costs. The payment method will also depend on your company’s contract with Gympass.

Gympass can be paid either by deducting it from your payroll, or charging it to you credit card.

If you select the payroll payment option, your first month’s Gympass payment will be larger.

You will need to pay for the full amount of your chosen plan and the proportional value between the day you started using the app and your company’s determined billing date.

Looking for a Gym

After you have created a Gympass account, and activated your plan it is now time to start using it. The first thing you need to do is find a gym where you can exercise.

It is easy to find a gym.

On your Gympass App, click on Search and then browse the map. To make the app work properly and accurately, you must have your GPS activated and turned on.

A gym can be found by searching by an activity, address or name. To find a gym that is connected to the network, you’ll need a Gympass Account. Gympass Tiers

The map will pull up and show you the nearest partner gyms to your GPS location. Click on the purple dots to learn more about the gym.

Click on the name of the partner gym to view which plans and activities are available.

Gympass: Check in

Once you have found your gym, it’s time to check-in and use your Gympass.

Check-in in is the only way to access a gym, do an activity, or join a live class. You must be present at the studio or gym before you can check in. The location is approximately 100m away.

You can also check-in on your mobile phone using the Gympass App.

Upon arriving at the activity’s location, open your Gympass App and then click on the “Check In” tab. Select the current location and confirm your check in.

Sometimes the studio or gym may not show up in your app. If this happens, check if the following:

  1. Your plan is active
  2. Your plan should include a gym
  3. If the address of the gym in the App matches your geolocation address in your phone,

Also, you can only check in once per day. This means you can only visit one gym per day. You can visit multiple gyms within a single month. Gympass Tiers

You don’t need to log-in for Partner Apps. Using them is free; you can access them whenever you want.

Managing Dependent Accounts

One good thing about Gympass is that it allows you to include your dependents in the app. However, this feature will depend on the discretion of your company. This feature may be offered by your company.

You can check if this feature is available by looking at your profile settings. If your company offers this feature, a “dependents tab” should be visible. You cannot add family members to your Gympass accounts if this is not possible.

To manage the accounts of your family members, first, you must check if your plan is active. You can then register them. Create a password and then activate a plan.

Up next, you must add a payment method for each family member. You can only add three dependents to Gympass. Only your partner and children are considered as dependents.

Each member of the family will have their own profile. These accounts will function in the same way as regular Gympass accounts, where they can search for gyms and check in for activities. Gympass Tiers

Just because they have an account does not mean they can enjoy it permanently. The corporate user can still change or cancel a plan for a family member.

Gympass Experience

I was lucky enough to be given access to Gympass in my work. It was an added benefit so I tried it.

Naturally, I subscribed first to the most economical plan, which was the starter plan.

I recommend that you check first which studios and gyms are open if your plan is to use their service. In my case, I was lucky enough that there were a few who were partnering with Gympass in my area.

Nevertheless, I did need to travel at times. That was when I reached my destination. The gyms were only available for their higher plans. So during those times, I was out of luck.

Virtual trainers were readily available during this time, which I was able to take advantage of. For these sessions, you can only book up to eight a month. If you are interested in booking these sessions, you will need to make an effort.

Gympass has one thing that I love: I have to check in every day. If I miss an appointment, I must pay a fee. This kind of incentivized me to follow my workout routines. Lo and behold, I’ve lost a lot of weight since starting the service. Gympass Tiers

As of today, I’m still using the app. In fact, I have since upgraded my plan. And I can say I am very happy that I did. Upgrading my plan allowed me to access more gyms and be studious. These studios provided interesting activities that were most enjoyable.
