gympass-review

Health and wellness are two very important things that nobody should neglect. With the way the world works, not everyone has the time or energy to exercise regularly and meditate. People are often so busy working that they don’t have the time to exercise, and instead use it for resting.

While it is not a company’s business regarding what their employees do in their free time, it would be in their interest to guide them toward a healthier and more active direction. Regular exercise is known to improve health and lead to better company results.

It would be wrong for a company to force employees to exercise. This is not necessary unless the company has an army or other job that requires employees to be fit.

So what would be a good way to go about this? Well, a good place to start would be to guide them toward what you want. It is important to offer them a way to exercise or go to the gym that is easy and convenient.

That is where Gympass comes in.

What is Gympass? Gympass Squash

Gympass, a platform and app for health and fitness that encourages users to live an active lifestyle, is Gympass. Gympass makes it possible for users to have access to different tools that allow for a healthy lifestyle.

It is the brainchild of three entrepreneurs. Cesar Carvalho. Joao Barbosa, and Vinicius Ferriani. These three are currently the highest-ranking members of the Gympass echelon.

Carvalho is currently the Global Chief Executive Officer and is currently based in New York City. Joao Barbosa assumes the role of Global Head of Partnerships/Gyms. He is currently residing in Milan, Lombardia. Ferriani is also a member of the board and an adviser.

More often than not, it is the lack of easy access to something that discourages people from doing that certain thing.

Consider the early days for Netflix. When Netflix and online streaming was still in their infancy, there was a noticeable drop in piracy rate. This was because people finally found a single platform that carried everything they wanted to watch.

When other streaming platforms were introduced in the market and made certain films or shows exclusive to their platforms, people once again found it difficult to access certain shows.

The competition and over-saturation of these websites made it difficult (read expensive) for people to access the media they wanted, as such, many returned to piracy.

Despite the oversaturation of streaming platforms, piracy returned to a record high.

How does this relate to Gympass? Well, think of it as an allegory.

Imagine Gympass being the streaming platform and the various gyms and health-related services the channels and shows. It would make sense for people who have easy access to the gym to go to the gym.

Gympass is a platform that allows you to access thousands of fitness studios and gyms around the world. These even include personal trainers and nutritionists all in one service. Users have no excuse to fail in their fitness goals with the help of this range of resources and features.

Gympass also offers workout plans, tracking tools and support from a large Gympass community.

How to Use Gympass

Signing Up

First of all, Gympass is not available to individual buyers. Gympass is only offered to companies, and these companies or workplaces will offer Gympass as one of their benefits. Only the employees of these companies are allowed to sign up for Gympass.

A potential customer will receive an email if he is eligible to sign up for a Gympass subscription. This email will arrive within 30 days of the company partnering with Gympass. If the company is already partnered with Gympass, the new employee will receive it on the first day of work.

The user will then download the Gympass App and click the Sign-up button to sign up. The user will then choose the name of the Gympass company from which he/she received Gympass.

Your employed ID and work email will be used during the sign-up process. Your name might be one of the other required fields. After the sign-up process, you will be given a 4-digit code through email. Gympass Squash

Use the same email that your company used to register you to Gympass. To complete your registration, enter your four-digit code. Click “Finish Registration”

P.S. Contact customer service if you fail to receive the four-digit verification code. They will update your email and move forward with the registration process.

Activating Gympass Plans

You must first understand the activities available with each plan. This will depend on which plan you choose to avail with. Remember that the value of the available plans differs from company to company. This will depend on how much your company pays Gympass.

After you have completed your registration, the app will display the available plans. Prices indicate the cost of each plan. Your company’s contract will determine the payment method.

Gympass can be paid either by deducting it from your payroll, or charging it to you credit card.

If you select the payroll payment option, your first month’s Gympass payment will be larger.

Between the date you began using the app and the billing date for your company, you will be responsible for paying the entire amount and the proportional values.

Looking for a Gym

Now that you have registered for a Gympass account and have activated your plan, it is time to use it. Of course, the first step would be to find a gym to work out in.

It is easy to find a gym.

Click on Search in your Gympass app and then browse the map. Of course, your GPS must be turned on and activated for the app to work correctly and accurately.

A gym can be found by searching by an activity, address or name. To find a gym that is connected to the network, you’ll need a Gympass Account. Gympass Squash

The map will pull up and show you the nearest partner gyms to your GPS location. If you want to find out more details about the gym, click on the purple dots.

Click on the name of the partner gym to view which plans and activities are available.

Gympass: Check in

Once you have found your gym, it’s time to check-in and use your Gympass.

You can only access a gym, participate in an activity or take part in a class if you check-in. You must be present at the studio or gym before you can check in. A good distance is about 100 meters near the location.

Check-in should also be done on your cell phone with the Gympass App.

After arriving at the activity’s site, open Gympass App. Click on the “Check in” tab. Choose the location which you are currently visiting and then confirm your check-in.

Sometimes the studio or gym may not show up in your app. Check the following to see if this happens:

  1. Your plan is active
  2. Your plan should include a gym
  3. If the gym’s address in the App matches the geolocation address in your cell phone

You can only check-in once per day. You can only visit one gym each day. But you can also go to different gyms in one month. Gympass Squash

You don’t need to log-in for Partner Apps. They are free to use and you can access them at any time.

Managing Dependent Accounts

Gympass allows you to add your dependents into the app. This is a great feature. However, this feature will depend on the discretion of your company. If your company offers this feature, then you are in luck.

Check your profile settings to see if this option is available. If your company offers this feature, a “dependents tab” should be visible. If not, you are not allowed to add family members to your Gympass account.

To manage the accounts of your family members, first, you must check if your plan is active. Then, you can register them. Create a password and then activate a plan.

Next, add a payment method to each member of your family. The maximum number of dependents you can add in Gympass is three persons. Only your partner and children are considered as dependents.

Each family member will have their own profile and account. These accounts will work in the same manner as regular Gympass accounts. They can search for gyms, check in for activities, and more. Gympass Squash

Just because they have an account does not mean they can enjoy it permanently. A corporate user can cancel or change a plan for a family member.

Gympass Experience

I was lucky enough to be given access to Gympass in my work. Since it was already an added benefit, I went ahead and tried it.

Naturally, I subscribed first to the most economical plan, which was the starter plan.

I recommend that you check first which studios and gyms are open if your plan is to use their service. In my case, I was lucky enough that there were a few who were partnering with Gympass in my area.

Nevertheless, I did need to travel at times. That was when I reached my destination. Only the higher plans had access to the gyms. So during those times, I was out of luck.

Virtual trainers were readily available during this time, which I was able to take advantage of. These sessions can only be booked up to eight per month. So you put a conscious effort if you want to book those from time to time.

Gympass has one thing that I love: I have to check in every day. If I miss an appointment, I must pay a fee. This kind of incentivized me to follow my workout routines. Lo and behold, I’ve lost a lot of weight since starting the service. Gympass Squash

The app is still available to me as of today. In fact, I have since upgraded my plan. And I’m very happy I did. I was able to use more gyms and study at my new plan. These studios provided interesting activities that were most enjoyable.
