gympass-review

Health and wellness are two very important things that nobody should neglect. However, with how the world works, only the most dedicated people have the time to do regular exercise and meditation. People are often so busy working that they don’t have the time to exercise, and instead use it for resting.

While it is not a company’s business regarding what their employees do in their free time, it would be in their interest to guide them toward a healthier and more active direction. After all, it is well known that regular exercise promotes health, and with healthy employees mean better results for the company.

It would be wrong for a company to force employees to exercise. This is not necessary unless the company has an army or other job that requires employees to be fit.

So what would be a good way to go about this? Well, a good place to start would be to guide them toward what you want. It is important to offer them a way to exercise or go to the gym that is easy and convenient.

This is where Gympass steps in.

What is Gympass? Gympass Portugues

Gympass, a platform and app for health and fitness that encourages users to live an active lifestyle, is Gympass. Gympass allows users to access different tools that can help them live a healthy life.

It was the brainchild three entrepreneurs. Cesar Carvalho. Joao Barbosa and Vinicius Feriani. Currently, these three serve as the higher-ups of the Gympass echelon.

Carvalho is currently the Global Chief Executive Officer and is currently based in New York City. Joao Barbosa assumes the role of Global Head of Partnerships/Gyms. He is currently residing in Milan, Lombardia. Lastly, Ferriani serves as a board member and adviser.

Often, people are discouraged by the difficulty of accessing something.

Take the early days of Netflix, for example. When Netflix and online streaming was still in their infancy, there was a noticeable drop in piracy rate. This was because people finally found a single platform that carried everything they wanted to watch.

When other streaming platforms were introduced in the market and made certain films or shows exclusive to their platforms, people once again found it difficult to access certain shows.

Many people returned to piracy because of the competition and high levels of saturation on these websites.

Despite the oversaturation of streaming platforms, piracy returned to a record high.

How does this relate to Gympass? It can be viewed as an allegory.

Imagine Gympass being the streaming platform and the various gyms and health-related services the channels and shows. It would make sense for people who have easy access to the gym to go to the gym.

Gympass, as a platform, provides access to thousands of gyms and fitness studios worldwide. You can even get personal trainers and nutritionists through one platform. Users have no excuse to fail in their fitness goals with the help of this range of resources and features.

Other highlights that Gympass provides include workout plans, tracking tools, and support from a huge Gympass Community.

Gympass not Classpass

One of Gympass’s main competitions is Classpass. It is easy to see why, as both of them have similar-sounding names. One of the biggest differences between them is how they are presented and which markets they target.

To put it bluntly, Gympass is a service that sells its services to businesses and companies to be offered as a benefit to their employees. A Gympass Subscription is not available to individuals. Classpass is for individuals only.

How To Use Gympass

Gympass is not offered to individuals. Gympass can only be purchased by companies. These companies and workplaces will offer Gympass to their employees as part of their benefits. Only the employees of these companies are allowed to sign up for Gympass.

If a potential customer is eligible, he will be notified by email. The email will be sent within 30 days after the company partners with Gympass. If the company is already partnered with Gympass, the new employee will receive it on the first day of work.

The user will then download the Gympass App and click the Sign-up button to sign up. From there, he or she will select the name of the company that offered Gympass to you.

Your employed ID and work email will be used during the sign-up process. Other required fields might include your name. After the sign-up process, you will be given a 4-digit code through email. Gympass Portugues

The same email address that you used to register for Gympass is yours. Enter your four-digit code and then click “Finish Registration” to finish your registration process.

P.S. Contact customer service if you fail to receive the four-digit verification code. They will update your email and move forward with the registration process.

Plans for activating the Gympass

You must first understand the activities available with each plan. It will vary depending on the plan you choose. Keep in mind that each company has a different value for the plans they offer. This will depend on how much your company pays Gympass.

After you have completed your registration, the app will display the available plans. The prices indicate how much each plan costs. Your company’s contract will determine the payment method.

Gympass can be paid either by deducting it from your payroll, or charging it to you credit card.

If you select the payroll payment option, your first month’s Gympass payment will be larger.

You will need to pay for the full amount of your chosen plan and the proportional value between the day you started using the app and your company’s determined billing date.

Are you looking for a gym?

After you have created a Gympass account, and activated your plan it is now time to start using it. The first thing you need to do is find a gym where you can exercise.

It is easy to find a gym.

On your Gympass App, click on Search and then browse the map. To make the app work properly and accurately, you must have your GPS activated and turned on.

You can also look for a gym by searching for an address, activity, or by its name. To find a gym that is connected to the network, you’ll need a Gympass Account. Gympass Portugues

The map will then pull up and indicate the closest partner gyms from your GPS location. Click on the purple dots to learn more about the gym.

You can then click on the partner gym’s name to see which plan and activities are available when you go there.

Checking in to Gympass

Now that you’ve found your gym, it is time to check in and use your Gympass.

Check-in in is the only way to access a gym, do an activity, or join a live class. You must be present at the studio or gym before you can check in. A good distance is about 100 meters near the location.

Check-in should also be done on your cell phone with the Gympass App.

After arriving at the activity’s site, open Gympass App. Click on the “Check in” tab. Select the current location and confirm your check in.

Sometimes the studio or gym may not show up in your app. If this happens, check if the following:

  1. Your plan is active
  2. Your plan should include a gym
  3. If the address of the gym in the App matches your geolocation address in your phone,

You can only check-in once per day. This means you can only visit one gym per day. But you can also go to different gyms in one month. Gympass Portugues

For Partner Apps, you do not need to check-in. Using them is free; you can access them whenever you want.

Managing Dependent Accounts

Gympass allows you to add your dependents into the app. This is a great feature. However, this feature will depend on the discretion of your company. If your company offers this feature, then you are in luck.

Check your profile settings to see if this option is available. If your company offers this feature, a “dependents tab” should be visible. You cannot add family members to your Gympass accounts if this is not possible.

To manage the accounts of your family members, first, you must check if your plan is active. Then, you can register them. Create a password and then activate a plan.

Next, add a payment method to each member of your family. You can only add three dependents to Gympass. Your partner and your children are not considered dependents.

Each family member will have their own profile and account. These accounts will function in the same way as regular Gympass accounts, where they can search for gyms and check in for activities. Gympass Portugues

Just because they have an account does not mean they can enjoy it permanently. The corporate user can still change or cancel a plan for a family member.

Gympass Experience

Gympass was an option that I was able to use in my job. It was an added benefit so I tried it.

Naturally, I subscribed first to the most economical plan, which was the starter plan.

I recommend that you check first which studios and gyms are open if your plan is to use their service. My case was fortunate enough to find a few Gympass partners in my area.

That said, there were times when I needed to travel, and that was when I arrived at my destination. Only the higher plans had access to the gyms. During those times, I was out luck.

Thankfully, virtual trainers were available for me during that period, and I took advantage of those. These sessions can only be booked up to eight per month. If you are interested in booking these sessions, you will need to make an effort.

One thing I like about Gympass is that I must check in daily. If I miss an appointment, I must pay a fee. This kind of incentivized me to follow my workout routines. Lo and behold, I’ve lost a lot of weight since starting the service. Gympass Portugues

As of today, I’m still using the app. Actually, I upgraded my plan. And I’m very happy I did. Upgrading my plan allowed me to access more gyms and be studious. These studios provided interesting activities that were most enjoyable.

Gympass Final Thoughts

Gympass might be the future of fitness and active lifestyle, especially for employees. They have figured out a way to really promote health and wellness to employees of a company.

Gympass seems to be a win-win situation. The employee gets to stay fit, while the employer can keep them happy and boost their activity, energy, and performance.

It seems that both the employer and employee have received their fair share of the service.

The only problem I see is that it is not available to single users. Gympass seems to have found a solution that works for them, as they are now making more money from their business model.
