Gympass Pause Plan

gympass-review

It is important to take care of your health and well-being. However, with how the world works, only the most dedicated people have the time to do regular exercise and meditation. People are often so busy working that they don’t have the time to exercise, and instead use it for resting.

While it is not a company’s business regarding what their employees do in their free time, it would be in their interest to guide them toward a healthier and more active direction. Regular exercise is known to improve health and lead to better company results.

However, it would be wrong if the company mandates employees and forces them to an exercise regimen. This is not necessary unless the company has an army or other job that requires employees to be fit.

So what would be a good way to go about this? Well, a good place to start would be to guide them toward what you want. It is important to offer them a way to exercise or go to the gym that is easy and convenient.

That is where Gympass comes in.

What is Gympass? Gympass Pause Plan

Gympass is a health and fitness platform and application that helps users follow an active lifestyle. Gympass makes it possible for users to have access to different tools that allow for a healthy lifestyle.

It was the brainchild three entrepreneurs. Cesar Carvalho. Joao Barbosa, and Vinicius Ferriani. Currently, these three serve as the higher-ups of the Gympass echelon.

Carvalho currently holds the Global Chief Executive Officer position and is currently located in New York City, New York. Joao Barbosa assumes the role of Global Head of Partnerships/Gyms. He is currently residing in Milan, Lombardia. Lastly, Ferriani serves as a board member and adviser.

More often than not, it is the lack of easy access to something that discourages people from doing that certain thing.

Consider the early days for Netflix. When Netflix and online streaming was still in their infancy, there was a noticeable drop in piracy rate. This was because people finally found a single platform that carried everything they wanted to watch.

When other streaming platforms were introduced in the market and made certain films or shows exclusive to their platforms, people once again found it difficult to access certain shows.

Many people returned to piracy because of the competition and high levels of saturation on these websites.

Despite streaming platforms becoming saturated, piracy has returned to an all-time high.

How does this relate to Gympass? Well, think of it as an allegory.

Imagine Gympass being the streaming platform and the various gyms and health-related services the channels and shows. It would make sense for people who have easy access to the gym to go to the gym.

Gympass is a platform that allows you to access thousands of fitness studios and gyms around the world. You can even get personal trainers and nutritionists through one platform. Users have no excuse to fail in their fitness goals with the help of this range of resources and features.

After you have completed your registration, the app will display the available plans. The prices indicate how much each plan costs. Your company’s contract will determine the payment method.

Gympass can be paid either by deducting it from your payroll, or charging it to you credit card.

Your payment in the first month of Gympass will be bigger if you choose the payroll payment option.

Between the date you began using the app and the billing date for your company, you will be responsible for paying the entire amount and the proportional values.

Are you looking for a gym?

After you have created a Gympass account, and activated your plan it is now time to start using it. The first thing you need to do is find a gym where you can exercise.

It is easy to find a gym.

On your Gympass App, click on Search and then browse the map. Of course, your GPS must be turned on and activated for the app to work correctly and accurately.

A gym can be found by searching by an activity, address or name. To find a gym that is connected to the network, you’ll need a Gympass Account. Gympass Pause Plan

The map will pull up and show you the nearest partner gyms to your GPS location. Click on the purple dots to learn more about the gym.

You can then click on the partner gym’s name to see which plan and activities are available when you go there.

Checking in to Gympass

Once you have found your gym, it’s time to check-in and use your Gympass.

You can only access a gym, participate in an activity or take part in a class if you check-in. You must be present at the studio or gym before you can check in. A good distance is about 100 meters near the location.

You can also check-in on your mobile phone using the Gympass App.

After arriving at the activity’s site, open Gympass App. Click on the “Check in” tab. Choose the location which you are currently visiting and then confirm your check-in.

Sometimes the studio or gym may not show up in your app. Check the following to see if this happens:

  1. Your plan is active
  2. The gym is part of your plan
  3. If the gym’s address in the App matches the geolocation address in your cell phone

You can only check-in once per day. This means you can only visit one gym per day. But you can also go to different gyms in one month. Gympass Pause Plan

You don’t need to log-in for Partner Apps. They are free to use and you can access them at any time.

Managing Dependent Accounts

Gympass allows you to add your dependents into the app. This is a great feature. This feature is at the company’s discretion. If your company offers this feature, then you are in luck.

You can check if this feature is available by looking at your profile settings. A “dependents tab” should appear if your company offers it. If not, you are not allowed to add family members to your Gympass account.

First, check to see if your plan has been activated before you can manage the accounts for your family members. Then, you can register them. You can then create a password to activate a plan.

Up next, you must add a payment method for each family member. You can only add three dependents to Gympass. Only your partner and children are considered as dependents.

Each member of the family will have their own profile. These accounts will work in the same manner as regular Gympass accounts. They can search for gyms, check in for activities, and more. Gympass Pause Plan

Just because they have an account does not mean they can enjoy it permanently. A corporate user can cancel or change a plan for a family member.

Gympass Experience

I was lucky enough to be given access to Gympass in my work. It was an added benefit so I tried it.

Naturally, I subscribed first to the most economical plan, which was the starter plan.

One thing I would advise is that if you plan to avail of their service, You should check out which gyms and studios are available first. My case was fortunate enough to find a few Gympass partners in my area.

Nevertheless, I did need to travel at times. That was when I reached my destination. Only the higher plans had access to the gyms. During those times, I was out luck.

Virtual trainers were readily available during this time, which I was able to take advantage of. These sessions can only be booked up to eight per month. So you put a conscious effort if you want to book those from time to time.

Gympass has one thing that I love: I have to check in every day. Otherwise I have to pay a fee for missed appointments. This kind of incentivized me to follow my workout routines. Lo and behold, I’ve lost a lot of weight since starting the service. Gympass Pause Plan

The app is still available to me as of today. In fact, I have since upgraded my plan. And I can say I am very happy that I did. Upgrading my plan allowed me to access more gyms and be studious. Some of these studios offered interesting activities, and most of them were enjoyable.
