Gympass For Self Employed

gympass-review

Health and wellness are two very important things that nobody should neglect. However, with how the world works, only the most dedicated people have the time to do regular exercise and meditation. People are often so busy working that they don’t have the time to exercise, and instead use it for resting.

While it is not a company’s business regarding what their employees do in their free time, it would be in their interest to guide them toward a healthier and more active direction. After all, it is well known that regular exercise promotes health, and with healthy employees mean better results for the company.

However, it would be wrong if the company mandates employees and forces them to an exercise regimen. Unless it is the army or some kind of job that requires its employees to be physically fit, such a requirement is not really necessary.

What is the best way to do this? It is a good idea to help them find what they want. It is best to provide them with a good and accessible way to pursue exercise or go to the gym.

This is where Gympass steps in.

What is Gympass? Gympass For Self Employed

Gympass is a health and fitness platform and application that helps users follow an active lifestyle. Gympass makes it possible for users to have access to different tools that allow for a healthy lifestyle.

It was the brainchild three entrepreneurs. Cesar Carvalho. Joao Barbosa and Vinicius Feriani. Currently, these three serve as the higher-ups of the Gympass echelon.

Often, people are discouraged by the difficulty of accessing something.

Take the early days of Netflix, for example. There was a drop in piracy rates when Netflix and online streaming were still in their infancy. This was because people finally found a single platform that carried everything they wanted to watch.

People were again unable to access certain shows when other streaming platforms came on the scene and made certain films or shows available only to them.

The competition and over-saturation of these websites made it difficult (read expensive) for people to access the media they wanted, as such, many returned to piracy.

Despite the oversaturation of streaming platforms, piracy returned to a record high.

How does this relate to Gympass? It can be viewed as an allegory.

Imagine Gympass being the streaming platform and the various gyms and health-related services the channels and shows. It would make sense for people who have easy access to the gym to go to the gym.

Gympass is a platform that allows you to access thousands of fitness studios and gyms around the world. You can even get personal trainers and nutritionists through one platform. Users have no excuse to fail in their fitness goals with the help of this range of resources and features.

Activating Gympass Plans

To begin, you must understand which activities are available for each plan. It will vary depending on the plan you choose. Remember that the value of the available plans differs from company to company. This will depend on how much your company pays Gympass.

After you have completed your registration, the app will display the available plans. Prices indicate the cost of each plan. The payment method will also depend on your company’s contract with Gympass.

Gympass could be paid by either deducting the amount from your payroll or charging it to your credit card.

If you select the payroll payment option, your first month’s Gympass payment will be larger.

Between the date you began using the app and the billing date for your company, you will be responsible for paying the entire amount and the proportional values.

Looking for a Gym

Now that you have registered for a Gympass account and have activated your plan, it is time to use it. The first thing you need to do is find a gym where you can exercise.

It is easy to find a gym.

Click on Search in your Gympass app and then browse the map. Of course, your GPS must be turned on and activated for the app to work correctly and accurately.

A gym can be found by searching by an activity, address or name. Even when searching for a gym, you will need a Gympass account to see which one is connected to their network. Gympass For Self Employed

The map will pull up and show you the nearest partner gyms to your GPS location. Click on the purple dots to learn more about the gym.

You can then click on the partner gym’s name to see which plan and activities are available when you go there.

Gympass: Check in

Once you have found your gym, it’s time to check-in and use your Gympass.

You can only access a gym, participate in an activity or take part in a class if you check-in. You must be present at the studio or gym before you can check in. A good distance is about 100 meters near the location.

You can also check-in on your mobile phone using the Gympass App.

Upon arriving at the activity’s location, open your Gympass App and then click on the “Check In” tab. Choose the location which you are currently visiting and then confirm your check-in.

Sometimes the studio or gym may not show up in your app. Check the following to see if this happens:

  1. Your plan is active
  2. The gym is part of your plan
  3. If the address of the gym in the App matches your geolocation address in your phone,

You can only check-in once per day. This means you can only visit one gym per day. But you can also go to different gyms in one month. Gympass For Self Employed

For Partner Apps, you do not need to check-in. They are free to use and you can access them at any time.

Managing Dependent Accounts

One good thing about Gympass is that it allows you to include your dependents in the app. This feature is at the company’s discretion. If your company offers this feature, then you are in luck.

You can check if this feature is available by looking at your profile settings. If your company offers this feature, a “dependents tab” should be visible. You cannot add family members to your Gympass accounts if this is not possible.

First, check to see if your plan has been activated before you can manage the accounts for your family members. Then, you can register them. Create a password and then activate a plan.

Up next, you must add a payment method for each family member. The maximum number of dependents you can add in Gympass is three persons. Only your partner and children are considered as dependents.

Each family member will have their own profile and account. These accounts will function in the same way as regular Gympass accounts, where they can search for gyms and check in for activities. Gympass For Self Employed

They can’t enjoy their account forever just because they have one. A corporate user can cancel or change a plan for a family member.

Gympass Experience

I was lucky enough to be given access to Gympass in my work. Since it was already an added benefit, I went ahead and tried it.

Naturally, I subscribed first to the most economical plan, which was the starter plan.

One thing I would advise is that if you plan to avail of their service, You should check out which gyms and studios are available first. In my case, I was lucky enough that there were a few who were partnering with Gympass in my area.

Nevertheless, I did need to travel at times. That was when I reached my destination. The gyms were only available for their higher plans. During those times, I was out luck.

Virtual trainers were readily available during this time, which I was able to take advantage of. These sessions can only be booked up to eight per month. If you are interested in booking these sessions, you will need to make an effort.

One thing I like about Gympass is that I must check in daily. Otherwise I have to pay a fee for missed appointments. I was incentivized to stick with my workout regimens. Since I started the service, I have lost a lot of weight. Gympass For Self Employed

The app is still available to me as of today. In fact, I have since upgraded my plan. And I can say I am very happy that I did. Upgrading my plan allowed me to access more gyms and be studious. Some of these studios offered interesting activities, and most of them were enjoyable.
