gympass-review

Health and wellness are two very important things that nobody should neglect. However, with how the world works, only the most dedicated people have the time to do regular exercise and meditation. People are often so busy working that they don’t have the time to exercise, and instead use it for resting.

While it is not a company’s business regarding what their employees do in their free time, it would be in their interest to guide them toward a healthier and more active direction. After all, it is well known that regular exercise promotes health, and with healthy employees mean better results for the company.

However, it would be wrong if the company mandates employees and forces them to an exercise regimen. Unless it is the army or some kind of job that requires its employees to be physically fit, such a requirement is not really necessary.

So what would be a good way to go about this? It is a good idea to help them find what they want. It is best to provide them with a good and accessible way to pursue exercise or go to the gym.

That is where Gympass comes in.

What is Gympass? Gympass Business Development Representative

Gympass is a health and fitness platform and application that helps users follow an active lifestyle. Gympass makes it possible for users to have access to different tools that allow for a healthy lifestyle.

It is the brainchild of three entrepreneurs. Cesar Carvalho. Joao Barbosa, and Vinicius Ferriani. These three are currently the highest-ranking members of the Gympass echelon.

Carvalho currently holds the Global Chief Executive Officer position and is currently located in New York City, New York. Joao Barbosa assumes the role of Global Head of Partnerships/Gyms. He is currently residing in Milan, Lombardia. Lastly, Ferriani serves as a board member and adviser.

Often, people are discouraged by the difficulty of accessing something.

Take the early days of Netflix, for example. When Netflix and online streaming was still in their infancy, there was a noticeable drop in piracy rate. This was because people finally found a single platform that carried everything they wanted to watch.

People were again unable to access certain shows when other streaming platforms came on the scene and made certain films or shows available only to them.

The competition and over-saturation of these websites made it difficult (read expensive) for people to access the media they wanted, as such, many returned to piracy.

Despite the oversaturation of streaming platforms, piracy returned to a record high.

So how does this connect with Gympass? It can be viewed as an allegory.

Imagine Gympass being the streaming platform and the various gyms and health-related services the channels and shows. Wouldn’t it make sense for people to get up and try the gym because they have easy access to it?

Gympass is a platform that allows you to access thousands of fitness studios and gyms around the world. You can even get personal trainers and nutritionists through one platform. Users have no excuse to fail in their fitness goals with the help of this range of resources and features.

Gympass also offers workout plans, tracking tools and support from a large Gympass community.

Gympass, not Classpass

One of Gympass’s main competitions is Classpass. Both have similar names, which is why it is easy to understand why. However, one of their biggest differences is in which market they target and how they are offered.

Gympass, as the name suggests, is a service that sells services to companies and businesses to be used by employees. A Gympass Subscription is not available to individuals. Classpass is for individuals only.

Gympass is a corporate platform that helps companies to ensure their employees’ health and well-being. It can be used to meet the health and lifestyle needs of the entire team and their families.

When an employer gives Gympass benefits to its employees, it gives the best well-being brand to their fingertips. As such, Gympass aims to make well-being universal and accessible no matter the person.

This makes Gympass an important force in the fitness industry. This unique system could revolutionize attitudes regarding health and well-being. Not only will it positively impact the physical health of the workforce, but it also has the potential to benefit their mental health too.

If a potential customer is eligible, he will be notified by email. The email will be sent within 30 days after the company partners with Gympass. The email will be sent to the employee if the company has already been partnered with Gympass.

After downloading the Gympass app, the user can click on the Sign up button to register. From there, he or she will select the name of the company that offered Gympass to you.

Sign-up will require your employed ID and email address. Your name might be one of the other required fields. After the sign-up process, you will be given a 4-digit code through email. Gympass Business Development Representative

Use the same email that your company used to register you to Gympass. Enter your four-digit code and then click “Finish Registration” to finish your registration process.

P.S. Contact customer service if you fail to receive the four-digit verification code. They will update your email and move forward with the registration process.

Plans for activating the Gympass

You must first understand the activities available with each plan. It will vary depending on the plan you choose. Keep in mind that each company has a different value for the plans they offer. This will depend on how much your company pays Gympass.

After you have completed your registration, the app will display the available plans. The prices indicate how much each plan costs. The payment method will also depend on your company’s contract with Gympass.

Gympass could be paid by either deducting the amount from your payroll or charging it to your credit card.

Your payment in the first month of Gympass will be bigger if you choose the payroll payment option.

Between the date you began using the app and the billing date for your company, you will be responsible for paying the entire amount and the proportional values.

Looking for a Gym

After you have created a Gympass account, and activated your plan it is now time to start using it. Of course, the first step would be to find a gym to work out in.

Looking for a gym is a very straightforward process.

Click on Search in your Gympass app and then browse the map. To make the app work properly and accurately, you must have your GPS activated and turned on.

You can also look for a gym by searching for an address, activity, or by its name. Even when searching for a gym, you will need a Gympass account to see which one is connected to their network. Gympass Business Development Representative

The map will then pull up and indicate the closest partner gyms from your GPS location. If you want to find out more details about the gym, click on the purple dots.

You can then click on the partner gym’s name to see which plan and activities are available when you go there.

Gympass: Check in

Once you have found your gym, it’s time to check-in and use your Gympass.

You can only access a gym, participate in an activity or take part in a class if you check-in. As such, you must be in the gym or studio’s premises before checking in. A good distance is about 100 meters near the location.

You can also check-in on your mobile phone using the Gympass App.

Upon arriving at the activity’s location, open your Gympass App and then click on the “Check In” tab. Select the current location and confirm your check in.

Sometimes the studio or gym may not show up in your app. Check the following to see if this happens:

  1. Your plan is active
  2. Your plan should include a gym
  3. If the gym’s address in the App matches the geolocation address in your cell phone

Also, you can only check in once per day. This means you can only visit one gym per day. But you can also go to different gyms in one month. Gympass Business Development Representative

For Partner Apps, you do not need to check-in. Using them is free; you can access them whenever you want.

Managing Dependent Accounts

Gympass allows you to add your dependents into the app. This is a great feature. However, this feature will depend on the discretion of your company. This feature may be offered by your company.

Check your profile settings to see if this option is available. If your company offers this feature, a “dependents tab” should be visible. If not, you are not allowed to add family members to your Gympass account.

To manage the accounts of your family members, first, you must check if your plan is active. Then, you can register them. Create a password and then activate a plan.

Up next, you must add a payment method for each family member. You can only add three dependents to Gympass. Your partner and your children are not considered dependents.

Each member of the family will have their own profile. These accounts will work in the same manner as regular Gympass accounts. They can search for gyms, check in for activities, and more. Gympass Business Development Representative

Just because they have an account does not mean they can enjoy it permanently. A corporate user can cancel or change a plan for a family member.

Gympass Experience

Gympass was an option that I was able to use in my job. It was an added benefit so I tried it.

Naturally, I subscribed first to the most economical plan, which was the starter plan.

I recommend that you check first which studios and gyms are open if your plan is to use their service. My case was fortunate enough to find a few Gympass partners in my area.

Nevertheless, I did need to travel at times. That was when I reached my destination. Only the higher plans had access to the gyms. During those times, I was out luck.

Virtual trainers were readily available during this time, which I was able to take advantage of. These sessions can only be booked up to eight per month. If you are interested in booking these sessions, you will need to make an effort.

One thing I like about Gympass is that I must check in daily. Otherwise I have to pay a fee for missed appointments. This kind of incentivized me to follow my workout routines. Lo and behold, I’ve lost a lot of weight since starting the service. Gympass Business Development Representative

As of today, I’m still using the app. Actually, I upgraded my plan. And I can say I am very happy that I did. Upgrading my plan allowed me to access more gyms and be studious. These studios provided interesting activities that were most enjoyable.
