Gympass And Bcbsok Afilliations

gympass-review

It is important to take care of your health and well-being. With the way the world works, not everyone has the time or energy to exercise regularly and meditate. People are often so busy working that they don’t have the time to exercise, and instead use it for resting.

Although it is not the company’s responsibility to determine what employees do with their time, it would be in their best interest to help them move in a more active and healthy direction. After all, it is well known that regular exercise promotes health, and with healthy employees mean better results for the company.

However, it would be wrong if the company mandates employees and forces them to an exercise regimen. This is not necessary unless the company has an army or other job that requires employees to be fit.

What is the best way to do this? It is a good idea to help them find what they want. It is important to offer them a way to exercise or go to the gym that is easy and convenient.

That is where Gympass comes in.

What is Gympass? Gympass And Bcbsok Afilliations

Gympass is a health and fitness platform and application that helps users follow an active lifestyle. Gympass allows users to access different tools that can help them live a healthy life.

It was the brainchild three entrepreneurs. Cesar Carvalho. Joao Barbosa and Vinicius Feriani. These three are currently the highest-ranking members of the Gympass echelon.

Carvalho currently holds the Global Chief Executive Officer position and is currently located in New York City, New York. Joao Barbosa assumes the role of Global Head of Partnerships/Gyms. He is currently residing in Milan, Lombardia. Lastly, Ferriani serves as a board member and adviser.

More often than not, it is the lack of easy access to something that discourages people from doing that certain thing.

Consider the early days for Netflix. When Netflix and online streaming was still in their infancy, there was a noticeable drop in piracy rate. This was because people finally found a single platform that carried everything they wanted to watch.

When other streaming platforms were introduced in the market and made certain films or shows exclusive to their platforms, people once again found it difficult to access certain shows.

Many people returned to piracy because of the competition and high levels of saturation on these websites.

Despite streaming platforms becoming saturated, piracy has returned to an all-time high.

How does this relate to Gympass? Well, think of it as an allegory.

Imagine Gympass being the streaming platform and the various gyms and health-related services the channels and shows. It would make sense for people who have easy access to the gym to go to the gym.

Gympass, as a platform, provides access to thousands of gyms and fitness studios worldwide. These even include personal trainers and nutritionists all in one service. Users have no excuse to fail in their fitness goals with the help of this range of resources and features.

Gympass also offers workout plans, tracking tools and support from a large Gympass community.

Your employed ID and work email will be used during the sign-up process. Your name might be one of the other required fields. You will receive an email with a 4-digit code after you sign up. Gympass And Bcbsok Afilliations

Use the same email that your company used to register you to Gympass. To complete your registration, enter your four-digit code. Click “Finish Registration”

P.S. If you do not receive the four-digit verification code, please contact customer service. They will send an email update and proceed with the registration process.

Activating Gympass Plans

To begin, you must understand which activities are available for each plan. This will depend on which plan you choose to avail with. Keep in mind that each company has a different value for the plans they offer. This will depend on how much your company pays Gympass.

Once you finish your registration, the available plans will be shown on the app. The prices indicate how much each plan costs. Your company’s contract will determine the payment method.

Gympass could be paid by either deducting the amount from your payroll or charging it to your credit card.

Your payment in the first month of Gympass will be bigger if you choose the payroll payment option.

You will need to pay for the full amount of your chosen plan and the proportional value between the day you started using the app and your company’s determined billing date.

Looking for a Gym

After you have created a Gympass account, and activated your plan it is now time to start using it. The first thing you need to do is find a gym where you can exercise.

It is easy to find a gym.

Click on Search in your Gympass app and then browse the map. To make the app work properly and accurately, you must have your GPS activated and turned on.

You can also look for a gym by searching for an address, activity, or by its name. Even when searching for a gym, you will need a Gympass account to see which one is connected to their network. Gympass And Bcbsok Afilliations

The map will then pull up and indicate the closest partner gyms from your GPS location. Click on the purple dots to learn more about the gym.

Click on the name of the partner gym to view which plans and activities are available.

Gympass: Check in

Once you have found your gym, it’s time to check-in and use your Gympass.

You can only access a gym, participate in an activity or take part in a class if you check-in. You must be present at the studio or gym before you can check in. The location is approximately 100m away.

Check-in should also be done on your cell phone with the Gympass App.

After arriving at the activity’s site, open Gympass App. Click on the “Check in” tab. Select the current location and confirm your check in.

Sometimes the studio or gym may not show up in your app. If this happens, check if the following:

  1. Your plan is active
  2. The gym is part of your plan
  3. If the address of the gym in the App matches your geolocation address in your phone,

You can only check-in once per day. You can only visit one gym each day. But you can also go to different gyms in one month. Gympass And Bcbsok Afilliations

For Partner Apps, you do not need to check-in. They are free to use and you can access them at any time.

Managing Dependent Accounts

Gympass allows you to add your dependents into the app. This is a great feature. However, this feature will depend on the discretion of your company. This feature may be offered by your company.

Check your profile settings to see if this option is available. A “dependents tab” should appear if your company offers it. You cannot add family members to your Gympass accounts if this is not possible.

First, check to see if your plan has been activated before you can manage the accounts for your family members. Then, you can register them. You can then create a password to activate a plan.

Next, add a payment method to each member of your family. You can only add three dependents to Gympass. Your partner and your children are not considered dependents.

Each family member will have their own profile and account. These accounts will work in the same manner as regular Gympass accounts. They can search for gyms, check in for activities, and more. Gympass And Bcbsok Afilliations

Just because they have an account does not mean they can enjoy it permanently. A corporate user can cancel or change a plan for a family member.

Gympass Experience

I was lucky enough to be given access to Gympass in my work. Since it was already an added benefit, I went ahead and tried it.

Naturally, I subscribed first to the most economical plan, which was the starter plan.

One thing I would advise is that if you plan to avail of their service, You should check out which gyms and studios are available first. In my case, I was lucky enough that there were a few who were partnering with Gympass in my area.

That said, there were times when I needed to travel, and that was when I arrived at my destination. The gyms were only available for their higher plans. During those times, I was out luck.

Thankfully, virtual trainers were available for me during that period, and I took advantage of those. These sessions can only be booked up to eight per month. If you are interested in booking these sessions, you will need to make an effort.

One thing I like about Gympass is that I must check in daily. Otherwise I have to pay a fee for missed appointments. I was incentivized to stick with my workout regimens. Lo and behold, I’ve lost a lot of weight since starting the service. Gympass And Bcbsok Afilliations

As of today, I’m still using the app. In fact, I have since upgraded my plan. And I’m very happy I did. Upgrading my plan allowed me to access more gyms and be studious. Some of these studios offered interesting activities, and most of them were enjoyable.
