Gympass Academias

gympass-review

Health and wellness are two very important things that nobody should neglect. With the way the world works, not everyone has the time or energy to exercise regularly and meditate. People are often so busy working that they don’t have the time to exercise, and instead use it for resting.

While it is not a company’s business regarding what their employees do in their free time, it would be in their interest to guide them toward a healthier and more active direction. After all, it is well known that regular exercise promotes health, and with healthy employees mean better results for the company.

However, it would be wrong if the company mandates employees and forces them to an exercise regimen. This is not necessary unless the company has an army or other job that requires employees to be fit.

So what would be a good way to go about this? Well, a good place to start would be to guide them toward what you want. It is best to provide them with a good and accessible way to pursue exercise or go to the gym.

That is where Gympass comes in.

What is Gympass? Gympass Academias

Gympass, a platform and app for health and fitness that encourages users to live an active lifestyle, is Gympass. Gympass makes it possible for users to have access to different tools that allow for a healthy lifestyle.

It was the brainchild three entrepreneurs. Cesar Carvalho. Joao Barbosa and Vinicius Feriani. Currently, these three serve as the higher-ups of the Gympass echelon.

Carvalho is currently the Global Chief Executive Officer and is currently based in New York City. Joao Barbosa takes over the task as the Global Head of Partnerships or Gyms and is currently living in Milan, Lombardia, Italy. Ferriani is also a member of the board and an adviser.

More often than not, it is the lack of easy access to something that discourages people from doing that certain thing.

Take the early days of Netflix, for example. When Netflix and online streaming was still in their infancy, there was a noticeable drop in piracy rate. People finally found one platform that offered everything they needed.

When other streaming platforms were introduced in the market and made certain films or shows exclusive to their platforms, people once again found it difficult to access certain shows.

Many people returned to piracy because of the competition and high levels of saturation on these websites.

Despite the oversaturation of streaming platforms, piracy returned to a record high.

So how does this connect with Gympass? It can be viewed as an allegory.

Imagine if Gympass is the streaming platform while the different gyms and other health-related services are the different shows and channels. Wouldn’t it make sense for people to get up and try the gym because they have easy access to it?

Gympass is a platform that allows you to access thousands of fitness studios and gyms around the world. You can even get personal trainers and nutritionists through one platform. Users have no excuse to fail in their fitness goals with the help of this range of resources and features.

Gympass also offers workout plans, tracking tools and support from a large Gympass community.

Gympass not Classpass

Classpass is Gympass’s most popular competition. It is easy to see why, as both of them have similar-sounding names. One of the biggest differences between them is how they are presented and which markets they target.

P.S. If you do not receive the four-digit verification code, please contact customer service. They will update your email and move forward with the registration process.

Activating Gympass Plans

You must first understand the activities available with each plan. This will depend on which plan you choose to avail with. Keep in mind that each company has a different value for the plans they offer. This will depend on how much your company pays Gympass.

Once you finish your registration, the available plans will be shown on the app. Prices indicate the cost of each plan. The payment method will also depend on your company’s contract with Gympass.

Gympass can be paid either by deducting it from your payroll, or charging it to you credit card.

If you select the payroll payment option, your first month’s Gympass payment will be larger.

You will need to pay for the full amount of your chosen plan and the proportional value between the day you started using the app and your company’s determined billing date.

Are you looking for a gym?

Now that you have registered for a Gympass account and have activated your plan, it is time to use it. The first thing you need to do is find a gym where you can exercise.

Looking for a gym is a very straightforward process.

On your Gympass App, click on Search and then browse the map. To make the app work properly and accurately, you must have your GPS activated and turned on.

A gym can be found by searching by an activity, address or name. To find a gym that is connected to the network, you’ll need a Gympass Account. Gympass Academias

The map will pull up and show you the nearest partner gyms to your GPS location. If you want to find out more details about the gym, click on the purple dots.

Click on the name of the partner gym to view which plans and activities are available.

Checking in to Gympass

Now that you’ve found your gym, it is time to check in and use your Gympass.

Check-in in is the only way to access a gym, do an activity, or join a live class. As such, you must be in the gym or studio’s premises before checking in. A good distance is about 100 meters near the location.

You can also check-in on your mobile phone using the Gympass App.

Upon arriving at the activity’s location, open your Gympass App and then click on the “Check In” tab. Select the current location and confirm your check in.

Sometimes, the gym or studio may not appear in your app. If this happens, check if the following:

  1. Your plan is active
  2. Your plan should include a gym
  3. If the address of the gym in the App matches your geolocation address in your phone,

Also, you can only check in once per day. You can only visit one gym each day. You can visit multiple gyms within a single month. Gympass Academias

For Partner Apps, you do not need to check-in. Using them is free; you can access them whenever you want.

Managing Dependent Accounts

One good thing about Gympass is that it allows you to include your dependents in the app. However, this feature will depend on the discretion of your company. If your company offers this feature, then you are in luck.

You can check if this feature is available by looking at your profile settings. If your company offers this feature, a “dependents tab” should be visible. If not, you are not allowed to add family members to your Gympass account.

First, check to see if your plan has been activated before you can manage the accounts for your family members. You can then register them. You can then create a password to activate a plan.

Up next, you must add a payment method for each family member. The maximum number of dependents you can add in Gympass is three persons. Your partner and your children are not considered dependents.

Each family member will have their own profile and account. These accounts will work in the same manner as regular Gympass accounts. They can search for gyms, check in for activities, and more. Gympass Academias

Just because they have an account does not mean they can enjoy it permanently. A corporate user can cancel or change a plan for a family member.

Gympass Experience

Gympass was an option that I was able to use in my job. It was an added benefit so I tried it.

Naturally, I subscribed first to the most economical plan, which was the starter plan.

One thing I would advise is that if you plan to avail of their service, You should check out which gyms and studios are available first. In my case, I was lucky enough that there were a few who were partnering with Gympass in my area.

Nevertheless, I did need to travel at times. That was when I reached my destination. The gyms were only available for their higher plans. So during those times, I was out of luck.

Thankfully, virtual trainers were available for me during that period, and I took advantage of those. For these sessions, you can only book up to eight a month. So you put a conscious effort if you want to book those from time to time.

One thing I like about Gympass is that I must check in daily. If I miss an appointment, I must pay a fee. This kind of incentivized me to follow my workout routines. Lo and behold, I’ve lost a lot of weight since starting the service. Gympass Academias

The app is still available to me as of today. Actually, I upgraded my plan. And I’m very happy I did. I was able to use more gyms and study at my new plan. Some of these studios offered interesting activities, and most of them were enjoyable.
