It is important to take care of your health and well-being. With the way the world works, not everyone has the time or energy to exercise regularly and meditate. Often, people are too busy working that what they have time for exercise is used for resting.
While it is not a company’s business regarding what their employees do in their free time, it would be in their interest to guide them toward a healthier and more active direction. Regular exercise is known to improve health and lead to better company results.
It would be wrong for a company to force employees to exercise. This is not necessary unless the company has an army or other job that requires employees to be fit.
What is the best way to do this? It is a good idea to help them find what they want. It is important to offer them a way to exercise or go to the gym that is easy and convenient.
This is where Gympass steps in.
Here is a video from Adriano’s YouTube channel for those who like to see things. To get a comprehensive overview of Gympass, you may still want to check out our article below.
What is Gympass? Gym Signage
Gympass, a platform and app for health and fitness that encourages users to live an active lifestyle, is Gympass. Gympass makes it possible for users to have access to different tools that allow for a healthy lifestyle.
It is the brainchild of three entrepreneurs. Cesar Carvalho. Joao Barbosa and Vinicius Feriani. Currently, these three serve as the higher-ups of the Gympass echelon.
Carvalho currently holds the Global Chief Executive Officer position and is currently located in New York City, New York. Joao Barbosa takes over the task as the Global Head of Partnerships or Gyms and is currently living in Milan, Lombardia, Italy. Lastly, Ferriani serves as a board member and adviser.
Often, people are discouraged by the difficulty of accessing something.
Consider the early days for Netflix. When Netflix and online streaming was still in their infancy, there was a noticeable drop in piracy rate. This was because people finally found a single platform that carried everything they wanted to watch.
When other streaming platforms were introduced in the market and made certain films or shows exclusive to their platforms, people once again found it difficult to access certain shows.
The competition and over-saturation of these websites made it difficult (read expensive) for people to access the media they wanted, as such, many returned to piracy.
Despite the oversaturation of streaming platforms, piracy returned to a record high.
How does this relate to Gympass? Well, think of it as an allegory.
Imagine if Gympass is the streaming platform while the different gyms and other health-related services are the different shows and channels. It would make sense for people who have easy access to the gym to go to the gym.
Gympass is a platform that allows you to access thousands of fitness studios and gyms around the world. You can even get personal trainers and nutritionists through one platform. Users have no excuse to fail in their fitness goals with the help of this range of resources and features.
Gympass also offers workout plans, tracking tools and support from a large Gympass community.

Gympass not Classpass
One of Gympass’s main competitions is Classpass. It is easy to see why, as both of them have similar-sounding names. However, one of their biggest differences is in which market they target and how they are offered.
To put it bluntly, Gympass is a service that sells its services to businesses and companies to be offered as a benefit to their employees. A Gympass Subscription is not available to individuals. Meanwhile, Classpass is only for individuals.
Gympass is a corporate platform that helps companies to ensure their employees’ health and well-being. It can be used by the whole team to meet their health and lifestyle requirements.
Gympass benefits are offered by employers to employees. This gives them the best brand of well-being. As such, Gympass aims to make well-being universal and accessible no matter the person.

How To Use Gympass
Gympass is not offered to individuals. Gympass is only offered to companies, and these companies or workplaces will offer Gympass as one of their benefits. Gympass is only available to employees of these companies.
A potential customer will receive an email if he is eligible to sign up for a Gympass subscription. This email will arrive within 30 days of the company partnering with Gympass. The email will be sent to the employee if the company has already been partnered with Gympass.
The user will then download the Gympass App and click the Sign-up button to sign up. The user will then choose the name of the Gympass company from which he/she received Gympass.
Sign-up will require your employed ID and email address. Other required fields might include your name. You will receive an email with a 4-digit code after you sign up. Gym Signage
The same email address that you used to register for Gympass is yours. Enter your four-digit code and then click “Finish Registration” to finish your registration process.
P.S. If you do not receive the four-digit verification code, please contact customer service. They will update your email and move forward with the registration process.
Plans for activating the Gympass
You must first understand the activities available with each plan. It will vary depending on the plan you choose. Remember that the value of the available plans differs from company to company. This will depend on how much your company pays Gympass.
After you have completed your registration, the app will display the available plans. Prices indicate the cost of each plan. Your company’s contract will determine the payment method.
Gympass could be paid by either deducting the amount from your payroll or charging it to your credit card.
Your payment in the first month of Gympass will be bigger if you choose the payroll payment option.
Between the date you began using the app and the billing date for your company, you will be responsible for paying the entire amount and the proportional values.
Are you looking for a gym?
Now that you have registered for a Gympass account and have activated your plan, it is time to use it. The first thing you need to do is find a gym where you can exercise.
Looking for a gym is a very straightforward process.
On your Gympass App, click on Search and then browse the map. To make the app work properly and accurately, you must have your GPS activated and turned on.
A gym can be found by searching by an activity, address or name. Even when searching for a gym, you will need a Gympass account to see which one is connected to their network. Gym Signage
The map will pull up and show you the nearest partner gyms to your GPS location. If you want to find out more details about the gym, click on the purple dots.
You can then click on the partner gym’s name to see which plan and activities are available when you go there.
Checking in to Gympass
Now that you’ve found your gym, it is time to check in and use your Gympass.
Check-in in is the only way to access a gym, do an activity, or join a live class. You must be present at the studio or gym before you can check in. The location is approximately 100m away.
You can also check-in on your mobile phone using the Gympass App.
Upon arriving at the activity’s location, open your Gympass App and then click on the “Check In” tab. Choose the location which you are currently visiting and then confirm your check-in.
Sometimes, the gym or studio may not appear in your app. Check the following to see if this happens:
- Your plan is active
- Your plan should include a gym
- If the gym’s address in the App matches the geolocation address in your cell phone
Also, you can only check in once per day. You can only visit one gym each day. But you can also go to different gyms in one month. Gym Signage
For Partner Apps, you do not need to check-in. They are free to use and you can access them at any time.
Managing Dependent Accounts
One good thing about Gympass is that it allows you to include your dependents in the app. This feature is at the company’s discretion. If your company offers this feature, then you are in luck.
Check your profile settings to see if this option is available. A “dependents tab” should appear if your company offers it. You cannot add family members to your Gympass accounts if this is not possible.
To manage the accounts of your family members, first, you must check if your plan is active. You can then register them. Create a password and then activate a plan.
Up next, you must add a payment method for each family member. You can only add three dependents to Gympass. Only your partner and children are considered as dependents.
Each member of the family will have their own profile. These accounts will work in the same manner as regular Gympass accounts. They can search for gyms, check in for activities, and more. Gym Signage
They can’t enjoy their account forever just because they have one. A corporate user can cancel or change a plan for a family member.

I was lucky enough to be given access to Gympass in my work. It was an added benefit so I tried it.
Naturally, I subscribed first to the most economical plan, which was the starter plan.
I recommend that you check first which studios and gyms are open if your plan is to use their service. My case was fortunate enough to find a few Gympass partners in my area.
That said, there were times when I needed to travel, and that was when I arrived at my destination. The gyms were only available for their higher plans. During those times, I was out luck.
Virtual trainers were readily available during this time, which I was able to take advantage of. These sessions can only be booked up to eight per month. So you put a conscious effort if you want to book those from time to time.
Gympass has one thing that I love: I have to check in every day. If I miss an appointment, I must pay a fee. This kind of incentivized me to follow my workout routines. Since I started the service, I have lost a lot of weight. Gym Signage
The app is still available to me as of today. Actually, I upgraded my plan. And I can say I am very happy that I did. I was able to use more gyms and study at my new plan. Some of these studios offered interesting activities, and most of them were enjoyable.
