gympass-review

It is important to take care of your health and well-being. With the way the world works, not everyone has the time or energy to exercise regularly and meditate. People are often so busy working that they don’t have the time to exercise, and instead use it for resting.

While it is not a company’s business regarding what their employees do in their free time, it would be in their interest to guide them toward a healthier and more active direction. After all, it is well known that regular exercise promotes health, and with healthy employees mean better results for the company.

However, it would be wrong if the company mandates employees and forces them to an exercise regimen. This is not necessary unless the company has an army or other job that requires employees to be fit.

So what would be a good way to go about this? Well, a good place to start would be to guide them toward what you want. It is best to provide them with a good and accessible way to pursue exercise or go to the gym.

That is where Gympass comes in.

What is Gympass? Fabio Gympass

Gympass is a health and fitness platform and application that helps users follow an active lifestyle. Gympass makes it possible for users to have access to different tools that allow for a healthy lifestyle.

It was the brainchild three entrepreneurs. Cesar Carvalho. Joao Barbosa and Vinicius Feriani. Currently, these three serve as the higher-ups of the Gympass echelon.

Carvalho is currently the Global Chief Executive Officer and is currently based in New York City. Joao Barbosa assumes the role of Global Head of Partnerships/Gyms. He is currently residing in Milan, Lombardia. Ferriani is also a member of the board and an adviser.

More often than not, it is the lack of easy access to something that discourages people from doing that certain thing.

Take the early days of Netflix, for example. When Netflix and online streaming was still in their infancy, there was a noticeable drop in piracy rate. People finally found one platform that offered everything they needed.

People were again unable to access certain shows when other streaming platforms came on the scene and made certain films or shows available only to them.

The competition and over-saturation of these websites made it difficult (read expensive) for people to access the media they wanted, as such, many returned to piracy.

Despite streaming platforms becoming saturated, piracy has returned to an all-time high.

How does this relate to Gympass? It can be viewed as an allegory.

Imagine Gympass being the streaming platform and the various gyms and health-related services the channels and shows. Wouldn’t it make sense for people to get up and try the gym because they have easy access to it?

Gympass, as a platform, provides access to thousands of gyms and fitness studios worldwide. You can even get personal trainers and nutritionists through one platform. Users have no excuse to fail in their fitness goals with the help of this range of resources and features.

Other highlights that Gympass provides include workout plans, tracking tools, and support from a huge Gympass Community.

Gympass not Classpass

One of Gympass’s main competitions is Classpass. It is easy to see why, as both of them have similar-sounding names. However, one of their biggest differences is in which market they target and how they are offered.

To put it bluntly, Gympass is a service that sells its services to businesses and companies to be offered as a benefit to their employees. As an individual, you cannot buy a Gympass Subscription. Classpass is for individuals only.

Gympass is a corporate platform that helps companies to ensure their employees’ health and well-being. It can be used by the whole team to meet their health and lifestyle requirements.

When an employer gives Gympass benefits to its employees, it gives the best well-being brand to their fingertips. As such, Gympass aims to make well-being universal and accessible no matter the person.

This makes Gympass an important force in the fitness industry. This unique system could revolutionize attitudes regarding health and well-being. It will not only positively impact the physical and mental health of the workforce but also have the potential to improve their mental health.

Activating Gympass Plans

You must first understand the activities available with each plan. It will vary depending on the plan you choose. Remember that the value of the available plans differs from company to company. This will depend on how much your company pays Gympass.

After you have completed your registration, the app will display the available plans. Prices indicate the cost of each plan. Your company’s contract will determine the payment method.

Gympass can be paid either by deducting it from your payroll, or charging it to you credit card.

If you select the payroll payment option, your first month’s Gympass payment will be larger.

You will need to pay for the full amount of your chosen plan and the proportional value between the day you started using the app and your company’s determined billing date.

Looking for a Gym

After you have created a Gympass account, and activated your plan it is now time to start using it. Of course, the first step would be to find a gym to work out in.

It is easy to find a gym.

Click on Search in your Gympass app and then browse the map. Of course, your GPS must be turned on and activated for the app to work correctly and accurately.

A gym can be found by searching by an activity, address or name. To find a gym that is connected to the network, you’ll need a Gympass Account. Fabio Gympass

The map will then pull up and indicate the closest partner gyms from your GPS location. Click on the purple dots to learn more about the gym.

You can then click on the partner gym’s name to see which plan and activities are available when you go there.

Checking in to Gympass

Now that you’ve found your gym, it is time to check in and use your Gympass.

Check-in in is the only way to access a gym, do an activity, or join a live class. You must be present at the studio or gym before you can check in. A good distance is about 100 meters near the location.

Check-in should also be done on your cell phone with the Gympass App.

After arriving at the activity’s site, open Gympass App. Click on the “Check in” tab. Choose the location which you are currently visiting and then confirm your check-in.

Sometimes the studio or gym may not show up in your app. If this happens, check if the following:

  1. Your plan is active
  2. The gym is part of your plan
  3. If the gym’s address in the App matches the geolocation address in your cell phone

You can only check-in once per day. This means you can only visit one gym per day. You can visit multiple gyms within a single month. Fabio Gympass

You don’t need to log-in for Partner Apps. They are free to use and you can access them at any time.

Managing Dependent Accounts

Gympass allows you to add your dependents into the app. This is a great feature. However, this feature will depend on the discretion of your company. This feature may be offered by your company.

You can check if this feature is available by looking at your profile settings. A “dependents tab” should appear if your company offers it. You cannot add family members to your Gympass accounts if this is not possible.

To manage the accounts of your family members, first, you must check if your plan is active. Then, you can register them. Create a password and then activate a plan.

Next, add a payment method to each member of your family. You can only add three dependents to Gympass. Your partner and your children are not considered dependents.

Each family member will have their own profile and account. These accounts will work in the same manner as regular Gympass accounts. They can search for gyms, check in for activities, and more. Fabio Gympass

They can’t enjoy their account forever just because they have one. A corporate user can cancel or change a plan for a family member.

Gympass Experience

Gympass was an option that I was able to use in my job. It was an added benefit so I tried it.

Naturally, I subscribed first to the most economical plan, which was the starter plan.

I recommend that you check first which studios and gyms are open if your plan is to use their service. My case was fortunate enough to find a few Gympass partners in my area.

That said, there were times when I needed to travel, and that was when I arrived at my destination. The gyms were only available for their higher plans. During those times, I was out luck.

Thankfully, virtual trainers were available for me during that period, and I took advantage of those. For these sessions, you can only book up to eight a month. If you are interested in booking these sessions, you will need to make an effort.

One thing I like about Gympass is that I must check in daily. Otherwise I have to pay a fee for missed appointments. This kind of incentivized me to follow my workout routines. Lo and behold, I’ve lost a lot of weight since starting the service. Fabio Gympass

The app is still available to me as of today. Actually, I upgraded my plan. And I’m very happy I did. I was able to use more gyms and study at my new plan. These studios provided interesting activities that were most enjoyable.

Gympass Final Thoughts

Gympass might be the future of fitness and active lifestyle, especially for employees. They found a way to promote wellness and health for employees.

With Gympass, it seems like everybody wins, and nobody loses. The employee gets to stay fit, while the employer can keep them happy and boost their activity, energy, and performance.

As a result, it seems like both the employee and the employer have gotten their money’s worth for the service.

I guess the only glaring downside would be the fact that it is unavailable to single users. However, since Gympass has been earning more money with its business model, it seems that they have finally found something working for them.
