gympass-review

It is important to take care of your health and well-being. However, with how the world works, only the most dedicated people have the time to do regular exercise and meditation. People are often so busy working that they don’t have the time to exercise, and instead use it for resting.

While it is not a company’s business regarding what their employees do in their free time, it would be in their interest to guide them toward a healthier and more active direction. After all, it is well known that regular exercise promotes health, and with healthy employees mean better results for the company.

It would be wrong for a company to force employees to exercise. This is not necessary unless the company has an army or other job that requires employees to be fit.

What is the best way to do this? Well, a good place to start would be to guide them toward what you want. It is best to provide them with a good and accessible way to pursue exercise or go to the gym.

This is where Gympass steps in.

What is Gympass? City Gympass

Gympass, a platform and app for health and fitness that encourages users to live an active lifestyle, is Gympass. Gympass allows users to access different tools that can help them live a healthy life.

It was the brainchild three entrepreneurs. Cesar Carvalho. Joao Barbosa, and Vinicius Ferriani. These three are currently the highest-ranking members of the Gympass echelon.

Carvalho is currently the Global Chief Executive Officer and is currently based in New York City. Joao Barbosa assumes the role of Global Head of Partnerships/Gyms. He is currently residing in Milan, Lombardia. Lastly, Ferriani serves as a board member and adviser.

More often than not, it is the lack of easy access to something that discourages people from doing that certain thing.

Consider the early days for Netflix. When Netflix and online streaming was still in their infancy, there was a noticeable drop in piracy rate. People finally found one platform that offered everything they needed.

People were again unable to access certain shows when other streaming platforms came on the scene and made certain films or shows available only to them.

Many people returned to piracy because of the competition and high levels of saturation on these websites.

Despite streaming platforms becoming saturated, piracy has returned to an all-time high.

So how does this connect with Gympass? Well, think of it as an allegory.

Imagine Gympass being the streaming platform and the various gyms and health-related services the channels and shows. Wouldn’t it make sense for people to get up and try the gym because they have easy access to it?

Gympass is a platform that allows you to access thousands of fitness studios and gyms around the world. These even include personal trainers and nutritionists all in one service. Users have no excuse to fail in their fitness goals with the help of this range of resources and features.

Other highlights that Gympass provides include workout plans, tracking tools, and support from a huge Gympass Community.

Are you looking for a gym?

After you have created a Gympass account, and activated your plan it is now time to start using it. The first thing you need to do is find a gym where you can exercise.

It is easy to find a gym.

On your Gympass App, click on Search and then browse the map. Of course, your GPS must be turned on and activated for the app to work correctly and accurately.

You can also look for a gym by searching for an address, activity, or by its name. To find a gym that is connected to the network, you’ll need a Gympass Account. City Gympass

The map will then pull up and indicate the closest partner gyms from your GPS location. If you want to find out more details about the gym, click on the purple dots.

You can then click on the partner gym’s name to see which plan and activities are available when you go there.

Gympass: Check in

Now that you’ve found your gym, it is time to check in and use your Gympass.

Check-in in is the only way to access a gym, do an activity, or join a live class. You must be present at the studio or gym before you can check in. A good distance is about 100 meters near the location.

Check-in should also be done on your cell phone with the Gympass App.

After arriving at the activity’s site, open Gympass App. Click on the “Check in” tab. Choose the location which you are currently visiting and then confirm your check-in.

Sometimes, the gym or studio may not appear in your app. Check the following to see if this happens:

  1. Your plan is active
  2. The gym is part of your plan
  3. If the address of the gym in the App matches your geolocation address in your phone,

You can only check-in once per day. You can only visit one gym each day. You can visit multiple gyms within a single month. City Gympass

For Partner Apps, you do not need to check-in. Using them is free; you can access them whenever you want.

Managing Dependent Accounts

Gympass allows you to add your dependents into the app. This is a great feature. This feature is at the company’s discretion. If your company offers this feature, then you are in luck.

Check your profile settings to see if this option is available. A “dependents tab” should appear if your company offers it. If not, you are not allowed to add family members to your Gympass account.

First, check to see if your plan has been activated before you can manage the accounts for your family members. Then, you can register them. You can then create a password to activate a plan.

Next, add a payment method to each member of your family. You can only add three dependents to Gympass. Your partner and your children are not considered dependents.

Each member of the family will have their own profile. These accounts will function in the same way as regular Gympass accounts, where they can search for gyms and check in for activities. City Gympass

They can’t enjoy their account forever just because they have one. The corporate user can still change or cancel a plan for a family member.

Gympass Experience

I was lucky enough to be given access to Gympass in my work. Since it was already an added benefit, I went ahead and tried it.

Naturally, I subscribed first to the most economical plan, which was the starter plan.

I recommend that you check first which studios and gyms are open if your plan is to use their service. My case was fortunate enough to find a few Gympass partners in my area.

Nevertheless, I did need to travel at times. That was when I reached my destination. The gyms were only available for their higher plans. So during those times, I was out of luck.

Thankfully, virtual trainers were available for me during that period, and I took advantage of those. For these sessions, you can only book up to eight a month. If you are interested in booking these sessions, you will need to make an effort.

One thing I like about Gympass is that I must check in daily. Otherwise I have to pay a fee for missed appointments. This kind of incentivized me to follow my workout routines. Since I started the service, I have lost a lot of weight. City Gympass

As of today, I’m still using the app. In fact, I have since upgraded my plan. And I’m very happy I did. I was able to use more gyms and study at my new plan. Some of these studios offered interesting activities, and most of them were enjoyable.
