Health and wellness are two very important things that nobody should neglect. With the way the world works, not everyone has the time or energy to exercise regularly and meditate. People are often so busy working that they don’t have the time to exercise, and instead use it for resting.
While it is not a company’s business regarding what their employees do in their free time, it would be in their interest to guide them toward a healthier and more active direction. After all, it is well known that regular exercise promotes health, and with healthy employees mean better results for the company.
It would be wrong for a company to force employees to exercise. Unless it is the army or some kind of job that requires its employees to be physically fit, such a requirement is not really necessary.
What is the best way to do this? It is a good idea to help them find what they want. It is important to offer them a way to exercise or go to the gym that is easy and convenient.
That is where Gympass comes in.
For those of you who prefer a more visual experience, here is a video review from Adriano Pianesi on his YouTube channel. You may want to read our article for a more comprehensive review of Gympass.
What is Gympass? Chuze Gympass
Gympass is a health and fitness platform and application that helps users follow an active lifestyle. Gympass makes it possible for users to have access to different tools that allow for a healthy lifestyle.
It is the brainchild of three entrepreneurs. Cesar Carvalho. Joao Barbosa and Vinicius Feriani. Currently, these three serve as the higher-ups of the Gympass echelon.
Carvalho is currently the Global Chief Executive Officer and is currently based in New York City. Joao Barbosa assumes the role of Global Head of Partnerships/Gyms. He is currently residing in Milan, Lombardia. Lastly, Ferriani serves as a board member and adviser.
Often, people are discouraged by the difficulty of accessing something.
Take the early days of Netflix, for example. There was a drop in piracy rates when Netflix and online streaming were still in their infancy. This was because people finally found a single platform that carried everything they wanted to watch.
When other streaming platforms were introduced in the market and made certain films or shows exclusive to their platforms, people once again found it difficult to access certain shows.
Many people returned to piracy because of the competition and high levels of saturation on these websites.
Despite streaming platforms becoming saturated, piracy has returned to an all-time high.
How does this relate to Gympass? It can be viewed as an allegory.
Imagine if Gympass is the streaming platform while the different gyms and other health-related services are the different shows and channels. Wouldn’t it make sense for people to get up and try the gym because they have easy access to it?
Gympass is a platform that allows you to access thousands of fitness studios and gyms around the world. You can even get personal trainers and nutritionists through one platform. Users have no excuse to fail in their fitness goals with the help of this range of resources and features.
Gympass also offers workout plans, tracking tools and support from a large Gympass community.
Gympass, not Classpass
One of Gympass’s main competitions is Classpass. Both have similar names, which is why it is easy to understand why. One of the biggest differences between them is how they are presented and which markets they target.
Gympass, as the name suggests, is a service that sells services to companies and businesses to be used by employees. A Gympass Subscription is not available to individuals. Meanwhile, Classpass is only for individuals.
Gympass is a corporate platform that helps companies to ensure their employees’ health and well-being. It can be used by the whole team to meet their health and lifestyle requirements.
Gympass benefits are offered by employers to employees. This gives them the best brand of well-being. Gympass strives to make well-being accessible and universal for all people.
This makes Gympass an important force in the fitness industry. This unique system could revolutionize attitudes regarding health and well-being. Not only will it positively impact the physical health of the workforce, but it also has the potential to benefit their mental health too.

Of course, these dependents will have to have their own payment methods. Also, this feature is limited by the parent company’s option.
How to Use Gympass
Gympass is not offered to individuals. Gympass is only offered to companies, and these companies or workplaces will offer Gympass as one of their benefits. Gympass is only available to employees of these companies.
If a potential customer is eligible, he will be notified by email. The email will be sent within 30 days after the company partners with Gympass. If the company is already partnered with Gympass, the new employee will receive it on the first day of work.
The user will then download the Gympass App and click the Sign-up button to sign up. The user will then choose the name of the Gympass company from which he/she received Gympass.
Your employed ID and work email will be used during the sign-up process. Your name might be one of the other required fields. After the sign-up process, you will be given a 4-digit code through email. Chuze Gympass
The same email address that you used to register for Gympass is yours. Enter your four-digit code and then click “Finish Registration” to finish your registration process.
P.S. If you do not receive the four-digit verification code, please contact customer service. They will update your email and move forward with the registration process.
Activating Gympass Plans
You must first understand the activities available with each plan. It will vary depending on the plan you choose. Keep in mind that each company has a different value for the plans they offer. This will depend on how much Gympass costs your company.
After you have completed your registration, the app will display the available plans. The prices indicate how much each plan costs. The payment method will also depend on your company’s contract with Gympass.
Gympass can be paid either by deducting it from your payroll, or charging it to you credit card.
Your payment in the first month of Gympass will be bigger if you choose the payroll payment option.
Between the date you began using the app and the billing date for your company, you will be responsible for paying the entire amount and the proportional values.
Looking for a Gym
Now that you have registered for a Gympass account and have activated your plan, it is time to use it. Of course, the first step would be to find a gym to work out in.
Looking for a gym is a very straightforward process.
On your Gympass App, click on Search and then browse the map. Of course, your GPS must be turned on and activated for the app to work correctly and accurately.
You can also look for a gym by searching for an address, activity, or by its name. Even when searching for a gym, you will need a Gympass account to see which one is connected to their network. Chuze Gympass
The map will then pull up and indicate the closest partner gyms from your GPS location. Click on the purple dots to learn more about the gym.
Click on the name of the partner gym to view which plans and activities are available.
Gympass: Check in
Now that you’ve found your gym, it is time to check in and use your Gympass.
Check-in in is the only way to access a gym, do an activity, or join a live class. As such, you must be in the gym or studio’s premises before checking in. The location is approximately 100m away.
You can also check-in on your mobile phone using the Gympass App.
After arriving at the activity’s site, open Gympass App. Click on the “Check in” tab. Choose the location which you are currently visiting and then confirm your check-in.
Sometimes the studio or gym may not show up in your app. If this happens, check if the following:
- Your plan is active
- Your plan should include a gym
- If the gym’s address in the App matches the geolocation address in your cell phone
You can only check-in once per day. You can only visit one gym each day. But you can also go to different gyms in one month. Chuze Gympass
You don’t need to log-in for Partner Apps. Using them is free; you can access them whenever you want.
Managing Dependent Accounts
One good thing about Gympass is that it allows you to include your dependents in the app. However, this feature will depend on the discretion of your company. This feature may be offered by your company.
You can check if this feature is available by looking at your profile settings. A “dependents tab” should appear if your company offers it. If not, you are not allowed to add family members to your Gympass account.
First, check to see if your plan has been activated before you can manage the accounts for your family members. Then, you can register them. You can then create a password to activate a plan.
Next, add a payment method to each member of your family. You can only add three dependents to Gympass. Only your partner and children are considered as dependents.
Each member of the family will have their own profile. These accounts will function in the same way as regular Gympass accounts, where they can search for gyms and check in for activities. Chuze Gympass
Just because they have an account does not mean they can enjoy it permanently. A corporate user can cancel or change a plan for a family member.
The Gympass is only available to employees at certain companies. It might be easy to think that plans could be expensive. It is possible to be quite wrong.
Gympass is very affordable to all budget types. This is because the company wants its users to promote a healthy and active lifestyle. Gympass plans start for as low as $11.99 per month.

Gympass was an option that I was able to use in my job. It was an added benefit so I tried it.
Of course, I first subscribed to the most affordable plan, which is the starter plan.
I recommend that you check first which studios and gyms are open if your plan is to use their service. My case was fortunate enough to find a few Gympass partners in my area.
Nevertheless, I did need to travel at times. That was when I reached my destination. The gyms were only available for their higher plans. During those times, I was out luck.
Thankfully, virtual trainers were available for me during that period, and I took advantage of those. For these sessions, you can only book up to eight a month. If you are interested in booking these sessions, you will need to make an effort.
One thing I like about Gympass is that I must check in daily. Otherwise I have to pay a fee for missed appointments. This kind of incentivized me to follow my workout routines. Lo and behold, I’ve lost a lot of weight since starting the service. Chuze Gympass
The app is still available to me as of today. Actually, I upgraded my plan. And I’m very happy I did. I was able to use more gyms and study at my new plan. Some of these studios offered interesting activities, and most of them were enjoyable.

Gympass Final Thoughts
Gympass could be the future for fitness and an active lifestyle, especially for employees. They found a way to promote wellness and health for employees.
Gympass seems to be a win-win situation. The employee gets to stay fit, while the employer can keep them happy and boost their activity, energy, and performance.
It seems that both the employer and employee have received their fair share of the service.
The only problem I see is that it is not available to single users. Gympass seems to have found a solution that works for them, as they are now making more money from their business model.
