Health and wellness are two very important things that nobody should neglect. With the way the world works, not everyone has the time or energy to exercise regularly and meditate. Often, people are too busy working that what they have time for exercise is used for resting.

Although it is not the company’s responsibility to determine what employees do with their time, it would be in their best interest to help them move in a more active and healthy direction. Regular exercise is known to improve health and lead to better company results.

However, it would be wrong if the company mandates employees and forces them to an exercise regimen. This is not necessary unless the company has an army or other job that requires employees to be fit.

So what would be a good way to go about this? It is a good idea to help them find what they want. It is best to provide them with a good and accessible way to pursue exercise or go to the gym.

This is where Gympass steps in.

What is Gympass? Academias Plano Silver Gympass

Gympass, a platform and app for health and fitness that encourages users to live an active lifestyle, is Gympass. Gympass allows users to access different tools that can help them live a healthy life.

It is the brainchild of three entrepreneurs. Cesar Carvalho. Joao Barbosa, and Vinicius Ferriani. Currently, these three serve as the higher-ups of the Gympass echelon.

Carvalho is currently the Global Chief Executive Officer and is currently based in New York City. Joao Barbosa takes over the task as the Global Head of Partnerships or Gyms and is currently living in Milan, Lombardia, Italy. Ferriani is also a member of the board and an adviser.

Often, people are discouraged by the difficulty of accessing something.

Take the early days of Netflix, for example. There was a drop in piracy rates when Netflix and online streaming were still in their infancy. This was because people finally found a single platform that carried everything they wanted to watch.

When other streaming platforms were introduced in the market and made certain films or shows exclusive to their platforms, people once again found it difficult to access certain shows.

The competition and over-saturation of these websites made it difficult (read expensive) for people to access the media they wanted, as such, many returned to piracy.

Despite the oversaturation of streaming platforms, piracy returned to a record high.

How does this relate to Gympass? It can be viewed as an allegory.

Imagine Gympass being the streaming platform and the various gyms and health-related services the channels and shows. It would make sense for people who have easy access to the gym to go to the gym.

Gympass, as a platform, provides access to thousands of gyms and fitness studios worldwide. These even include personal trainers and nutritionists all in one service. With its range of features and resources, users have little excuse for why they should fail in their fitness goals.

Gympass also offers workout plans, tracking tools and support from a large Gympass community.

Gympass, not Classpass

One of Gympass’s main competitions is Classpass. Both have similar names, which is why it is easy to understand why. However, one of their biggest differences is in which market they target and how they are offered.

Gympass, as the name suggests, is a service that sells services to companies and businesses to be used by employees. As an individual, you cannot buy a Gympass Subscription. Classpass is for individuals only.

Gympass is a corporate platform that helps companies to ensure their employees’ health and well-being. It can be used to meet the health and lifestyle needs of the entire team and their families.

The user will then download the Gympass App and click the Sign-up button to sign up. The user will then choose the name of the Gympass company from which he/she received Gympass.

Sign-up will require your employed ID and email address. Other required fields might include your name. You will receive an email with a 4-digit code after you sign up. Academias Plano Silver Gympass

P.S. Contact customer service if you fail to receive the four-digit verification code. They will send an email update and proceed with the registration process.

Activating Gympass Plans

You must first understand the activities available with each plan. This will depend on which plan you choose to avail with. Keep in mind that each company has a different value for the plans they offer. This will depend on how much Gympass costs your company.

Once you finish your registration, the available plans will be shown on the app. Prices indicate the cost of each plan. The payment method will also depend on your company’s contract with Gympass.

Gympass could be paid by either deducting the amount from your payroll or charging it to your credit card.

Your payment in the first month of Gympass will be bigger if you choose the payroll payment option.

You will need to pay for the full amount of your chosen plan and the proportional value between the day you started using the app and your company’s determined billing date.

Are you looking for a gym?

After you have created a Gympass account, and activated your plan it is now time to start using it. Of course, the first step would be to find a gym to work out in.

It is easy to find a gym.

On your Gympass App, click on Search and then browse the map. Of course, your GPS must be turned on and activated for the app to work correctly and accurately.

A gym can be found by searching by an activity, address or name. Even when searching for a gym, you will need a Gympass account to see which one is connected to their network. Academias Plano Silver Gympass

The map will then pull up and indicate the closest partner gyms from your GPS location. Click on the purple dots to learn more about the gym.

Click on the name of the partner gym to view which plans and activities are available.

Gympass: Check in

Once you have found your gym, it’s time to check-in and use your Gympass.

You can only access a gym, participate in an activity or take part in a class if you check-in. You must be present at the studio or gym before you can check in. A good distance is about 100 meters near the location.

You can also check-in on your mobile phone using the Gympass App.

Upon arriving at the activity’s location, open your Gympass App and then click on the “Check In” tab. Select the current location and confirm your check in.

Sometimes, the gym or studio may not appear in your app. Check the following to see if this happens:

  1. Your plan is active
  2. The gym is part of your plan
  3. If the gym’s address in the App matches the geolocation address in your cell phone

You can only check-in once per day. You can only visit one gym each day. You can visit multiple gyms within a single month. Academias Plano Silver Gympass

You don’t need to log-in for Partner Apps. Using them is free; you can access them whenever you want.

Managing Dependent Accounts

One good thing about Gympass is that it allows you to include your dependents in the app. This feature is at the company’s discretion. This feature may be offered by your company.

Check your profile settings to see if this option is available. If your company offers this feature, a “dependents tab” should be visible. You cannot add family members to your Gympass accounts if this is not possible.

To manage the accounts of your family members, first, you must check if your plan is active. Then, you can register them. Create a password and then activate a plan.

Up next, you must add a payment method for each family member. The maximum number of dependents you can add in Gympass is three persons. Your partner and your children are not considered dependents.

Each member of the family will have their own profile. These accounts will work in the same manner as regular Gympass accounts. They can search for gyms, check in for activities, and more. Academias Plano Silver Gympass

Just because they have an account does not mean they can enjoy it permanently. A corporate user can cancel or change a plan for a family member.

Gympass Experience

Gympass was an option that I was able to use in my job. Since it was already an added benefit, I went ahead and tried it.

Of course, I first subscribed to the most affordable plan, which is the starter plan.

One thing I would advise is that if you plan to avail of their service, You should check out which gyms and studios are available first. In my case, I was lucky enough that there were a few who were partnering with Gympass in my area.

That said, there were times when I needed to travel, and that was when I arrived at my destination. The gyms were only available for their higher plans. So during those times, I was out of luck.

Thankfully, virtual trainers were available for me during that period, and I took advantage of those. For these sessions, you can only book up to eight a month. So you put a conscious effort if you want to book those from time to time.

Gympass has one thing that I love: I have to check in every day. If I miss an appointment, I must pay a fee. This kind of incentivized me to follow my workout routines. Since I started the service, I have lost a lot of weight. Academias Plano Silver Gympass

The app is still available to me as of today. In fact, I have since upgraded my plan. And I’m very happy I did. I was able to use more gyms and study at my new plan. Some of these studios offered interesting activities, and most of them were enjoyable.
